I've just found this out this afternoon...its bloody dear I might just go the new Audi R series colour for my wheels. Dark matt grey.. sort of like a flat gun metal colour The shadow chrome colours also vary with different wheel manufacturers as well

If it gets too hard I'll just pick a colour that looks close... its only a girls car anyway

The black is primer (undercoat) and the inside isnt painted with the shadow chrome. I want to get my mags redone and I want to try and get the paint code for the shadow chrome... and yes clear goes over it... no one can give me the paint code and I havent got a wheel to get a colour match with... I thought this was going to be easy ?

Owners been offered $500 by the wreckers... anyone want to make a higher bid ? This car is still a runner and requires a bit of TLC and a couple of minor WOF repairs

Yes, I probably am (I've taken my chill pill now) and I agree about the cowboys out there. The reputation of a really good business can be destroyed by the acts of a stupid employee

For a daily, with normal driving, OEM are fine. I'm using slotted Brembos from Brake & Trans ($130ea) and OEM pads and find the brakes alot better

I totaly agree with Grant (hotwire)..get it repaired properly. If your in Auckland...we can do it for you

Couldn't help seeing that Mr G turned into a she ??? And whats a welly... and what was the driver actually accused of ??. Driving the car at more than 50 kph ?? I sometimes have to drive cars a little quicker at times when checking customer complaints with driveability problems. No big deal if you do it safely... as i see it... just another mechanic bashing blog... maybe he was unhappy with his serice bill of 600 Euro and needed a grizzle
