hi i have never heard of machining rotors wrong making a grinding noise u should check any metal clips or squeal shims to see if there touching the rotor. have u checked ur rear pads???

i was just replacing my brake pads on the front of my e34 when i noticed the hose was spit on the one side i thought to myself what a good excuse to get some braded ones made up i went to see the guys at poirua brake and clutch. I spoke to a guy called keith who said he would make them up for me and that they come certed so no hasstles on getting a cert once fitted. I got them for a tidy sum of $70.00 a side i thought it was a good price and they made a real nice job. Anyone thinking of upgrading to braided hoses in the wellington area go see keith top job. il get some pics up soon

i give up my time and go on call for work and have the ute saves me a weeks worth of gas oh and avoid taking the missis shopping lol

anyone out there got a set of 17s tyres or no tyres cheap that will fit my e34?

haha i was thinking of pouring concrete in the boot. they been in now for three or four weeks i was thinking of getting a spare set of rear shocks and getting a set of springs commpressed or maybe having shortend shocks made up having the springs commpressed more but not sure if thats the thing to do?? guess il wait for a bit like u say they might settle. also im running some sh*t as rims 15ich haha need a nice clean set of 17s if any one has a cheap set kicking around tyres or no tyres.

a mate told me i should leave it as it may settle down it just looks shat lol i have a few mates back in the uk i might ask about some coilovers might do a bulk buy if anyone is interested in buying a set for a e34 only

hey guys i just lowerd my e34 525 last weekend with a good set of lowering springs. the front went down by about 45/50mm where as the back hardly went down at all????? is this a common thing? ive read somwhere that if the back is lowerd too much it will throw out the camber?? does anyone have a cheap pair of rear springs that go low as or can i use some coil overs for the rears??? where can i buy them im based in wellington.

im in wellington mate. ive had a quote from bnt for a exceedy standard clutch kit for$380.00 do u recon i can get one cheaper througth a bmw dealers?

hi all i have a small problem with my girl friends 318 e 30 when driving and holding my foot steady on the throttle the motor serges wich is real anoying and i think its causing bad fuel consumption too could this be an air flow meter problem? i recentley unplugged the afm to drill the air box could this course the problem??? or should i be looking some where elce any help would be great and should score me some browne points haha

i have a spare e34 2.5 the complete car and a 1990 e30 318i what can i swap over from the e34 to the e30 ie breaks 5 stud maybe ??? any help would be great.

been trying for ages now i have tryed everything i got the water to heater my problem now is steem througth the bleed hole on top of thermostat top hose has no water going througth it ?????????? and the water pump sounds funny might try a new water pump

hi guys i have just put my e34 2.5m20 motor back together ive done the head gasket and cam belt. The problem im having is bleeding the water system the only bleed points i can see are on top of the thermostat housing and top of the rad. my motor keeps getting hot and pressure building up in the header tank. I cant get eny heat inside the car the pipes in and out from car are hot but still no heat inside of car i have climate control and it does not seem to be coming througth the componant that u adjust the heat settings with its the componant by the loom connecetor plug. im realy f**ked off as i have spent so much money on this motor any help would be cool ive checked the water pump and seems ok no play does not leak and impeller is good.

ive just finished converting my e30 to a manual and bleeding the clutch is a f*@&$ pain in the bum eny easy ways to do it ????? :banghead:

hey started my man gear box convershion at last just a quick question who knows the size or part number for the spigot bearing just put the pedel box in what a mission glad that part is done :mosh:
