I thought I'd pixelated the plate enough - obviouslly for some people it wasn't enough. I would never post up a pic of a car like this with the plate in full view.
I have removed the pic I presume you are all talking about and replaced with a better version.
Hope you are all happy now.
Cheers

Does anyone know much about the history of this car..advertised at Experience BMW in Newmarket. RHD...low Kms, NZ New. E30M3 PPlate......
.....says POA....

$50k, and you can drive away in my M3 tomorrow.
Tell us more...is that the EVO1 or EVO Sport ( III) ?
-
Def a genuine m3 - not a harge thing though.
It has the Evo Sport rear spoiler and front splitter etc etc, but couldn't spot the aliminium plate in the centre console that would have its number out of the 500 odd that were made.

Car yard out in avondale have a car matching that description, they've never bothered to register it. But is not an Evo Sport, its just cosmetic.
That might make sense, as it turned off towards the Avondale direction. So is it even a genuine M3 or just a 325i with a body kit ?

TWR Racing - for sale on tard me.
Nope...totally different cars, thats a standard M3 on TM, this was quite different being the Evo Sport.

About 9:30am this morning on the Nth Western motorway heading North out of the city. Black, red stripe bumpers, with the rear spoiler fully extended. LHD with yellow dealer plates....anyone know anything about it ?

THanks for all the help people.
I read yesterday that the SMG equipped E36M3 was about 5-6 seconds quicker round the Nurburgring than the 6 spd manual
-
Thanks for that, I think this would be a '99 NZ New Evo ....would that be SMGII ?
-
Can people give me their opinions on the SMG gearboxes on the E36 M3 EVO's, as opposed to the six speed manual. I'm guessing you are going to say, the manual is the better option, but would just like to hear pros and cons from people who may have had experience with them...thanks.
