  1. hahaha

    rants:

Woodstock drinking types up the road on their drift trike who think its cool to ride up and down out caldersacs skidding even after I had a polite word. Time to sh*t in their letter box.

I get them too. I swear I can hear the ones down your street if it's quiet enough from my room. Get some fishing line across two power poles.

  2. People that creep forward at red lights until they are so far forward the sensor (where applicable) doesn't recognise they are there and the light stays red for Fkng eternity. Then you have a distance too small for that retard prick to reverse back on to to engage the sensor and too small for you (sitting behind them thinking how much of a fk wit they are) to move forward. Then you both have to reverse. God forbid there is another retard behind you who doesn't realise what's going on and sits on the horn like an animal while you try to reverse.

People that walk slowly across the road and stare at you trying to be tough. I'm not racist but we all know the demographic here.

  3. Have figured out that unlike an e36 rack, you will have to use inner and outer tie rods from an e30. Measuring them up , the e46 tie rods are about 10mm longer from centre to end. Theoretically you could wind them in all the way but even then it is still about 3mm too long. This is all measured on a bench and I guess would work out to be the same when installed. It's a shame because the e46 tie rods are so much more grunty than the puss little e30 ones.

Also bmw are bloody GCs in that they mark the centre point of where the rack is centred. Measured it off the ends and it's pretty darn close. The rest you can tweak off the splines on the UJ

  4. Picked up new steering rack for e30. Figured while the motors out I should probably do this. Am going to ditch the power steering also while I'm at it. Anyone who's done this please let me know how you went about it. Im currently thinking of using the blanking plates with the breather holes but will drilling holes into the banjo bolts achieve the same thing if I put a nylon spacer in between?

Cheers as always to Ray for sussing this at a bargain price.

Edit should add its the e46 desirable one.

  5. A gf with a solid interest in cars would be annoying as f**k.

Word. My mates gf tries to talk to me and him about cars (she knows FA) and spear fishing (knows even less),amd my mate hates it more than I do. It would be like me talking to her about make up and other boring crap. If she genuinely knew things about cars it would be cool I guess.

One time I had an argument with my gf that she wasted too much time watching make up videos on line and that it would be a piece of piss to do, her rebuttal was that I spent too much time on the net reading car articles and watching poker strategy videos.

So I did her makeup and she came and lost $100 at the next poker event. I think comparitively, I did way better than her.

It's like, its nice and all that you're making an effort but sometimes you just need to go upstairs and make me a sang-which.

  6. Well what a fizzer,I woke up this morning expecting to see carnage: roofs ripped off , trees down all over the place.

I'm glad it missed us and we're all OK.

But it got me thinking ; what other job/employment is there where you can get so wrong and still keep your job.

Its like the story about the little boy who cried wolf too many times, one day nobody is going to listen.

and my bitch has a new dog bowl.

What does the dog bowl look like?
