Thats exactly what I was after Carl CHeers! Have just put in an extra gig of ram and bought a 400gig External hard drive. Seems to be fine for me now..All I do is use Protools,VDJ and some other Midi programs. Have also just downloaded the factory drivers from the NEC website and now I have sound! Vista is a whole lot of fun to play with when it's running good.

Hate to drag up an old thread, but have just had Vista put on my laptop by a mate. Now it is stupidly slow and the drivers I had on the CD that it came with don't work hence no sound and no mouse etc etc. How do I fix this and what are some of the tweaks that you are talking about Carl. Chur

Ohh sorry, car is an E36 318i with an M43. Dont know G/box number but it's NZ new if it makes any difference

Have bought a new clutch for the E36 after my one has started slowly slipping. Before I pay someone to do it I thought I'd have a quick read up on how to do it. I remember a WICKED step by step write-up but for the life of me I cant find it! Pretty handy with a spanner,redone the gear linkages and shifter etc but is this a bit outta my league? Would love to have a crack at it aslong as there is a way to fix it after I fork it up! I've done the clutch on my B1600 ute and that was easy enough on my back.Just wondering if theres anything I should be looking out for. Any help would be much appreciated Cheers Ashkan

For some reason my new 215/35's have outlasted any other tyre I've had. They are still mean as on the inside but I'm going to rotate them tommorow anyways. Toyo proxes...set me back 35 bucks a tyre from a fulla who wanted to run 195's on an 8 inch wheel. Mean score. Otherwise PM me, I have a mate who can sort out cheap 80% tread low pros.

There must be a way to get into it..i mean you did put it in there. Do what Ollie said and lube her up and see what happens. If that don't work then it might be jamming on some trim/bracket etc.

Which seatbelt is it? Just undo everything surrounding it and see if it makes it any better. If not then your windy doodaah may be forked.

Just remember the lowest part on an E30 is the sump so just watch out for that. Facelifts have higher rear gaurds so will not tuck much at the back but the ground clearence will be lower. Anywhere more than 60mm and I'd imagine you'd be illegal. But if you don't care then go 100mm

140mm rear drop and a steelie tyre lasted all of 2 weeks aswell. Basicly, if you don't have the $ to run a car that low with the wheels you have on it...jack it back up. Otherwise harden the f**k up and welcome to the world of SLAB haha kidding. But seriously sh!t will crap out eventually.
