Just to clarify. If you wanted to get certed for JUST height would you only need to pay the $195 and all he checks is your suspension? Ie: wouldn't check tints or any other thing like a wof?
-
1000 with tyres. But gotta sell the rear tyres to get new smaller ones to stop the damn rubbing.
-
Duh obviously. Forgot to finish and say that he got it all fixed and got a cert.

Cheers for that, different strokes for different folks. Was about 45mm at front chassis on 17's but is now around 55mm with the 18's Ohh and a lil teaser with 18's on front...waiting to find right tyres for the back so the gaurd aint sitting on the wheel

I'm with penry on that speed changing ad. Pretty straight foward really unless your one of them who has to pick out all the little mistakes in something. Good read.
-
Also, how the f**k did you get so much tuck in the front? Mines got slightly less and rubs on full lock. Tyres? Ohh and my fronts are flared like mental.
-
Springs are for losers , ditch em. KIDDING If you want an out of the ordinary height and don't have money to spend then you wont get it legal. As the experienced people on here will tell you adjusties etc are the way to go for good handling/height/legalness (wtf is the right word for legalness)

Risks of stretched tyres. Please ellaborate.

Well I took them off and put the RC's back on for now cos, well, I couldnt drive anywhere! I couldnt turn ( yes old fullahs you were right) but ninos car is lower than mine slightly so should have theoretically been sitting on the gaurds. I will just flare the gaurds right out and see what happens there. Will have to rip the grinder out and grind some of that plastic shiz. But dayam it looked good. Front wheel was tucked under almost to the rim
-
^^that'd be the goer. Look good. Sack that shiz.

Ok just to add to this. I got my 18's today and found they have an offset of 42. (18x8 on 235/40) Stuck em all on and rolled the rear gaurds pretty much as far as they would go,left the fronts unmodded. And whilst the car was still they weren't rubbing at all and the front was tucked under heaps. Then as soon as I drove out of the driveway it started rubbing like mental,so I pulled over and the inside of my front gaurd was hanging out. STINK! i was so excited lol. Whats the problem here? Obviously the height will have a part to play but surely there must be something I can do? Is it offset? Or tyres? Or just need to roll the gaurd out a whole lot more?
