Haha .. that alarm was for my subbie I had, as you all know subbie gets stolen very often. One thing I love BMWs is as m325i already mentioned, they hardly get stolen, that's why I don't have alarm on my E39. Most thieves know that 5 or 7 series audio are a pain to upgrade, so they don't bother to break in even.

Bit of advice ... If you have nice wheels, tilt sensor + 3-4 differnt brand lock nuts is a must. If you have amps and subs, 120db sirens in the boot is good too. If possible - Install at least two 120db sirens inside the cabin (drives thieving pricks out of the car). Install microwave sensor (alarm will trigger again should movement detected again after initial triggered) Install extra backup battery to power your entire alarm should the thieving pricks disconnect your mains. Battery backup siren are useless as they get ripped out. Asks the installer to place external siren behind vehicle bumpers, not in engine bay where it can be seen. The harder the job you make for those thieving pricks, the better. This was my setup for my previous car. Dynatron Alarm , Glass sensor, Tilt sensor, Microwave sensor, Battery backed up (not on the siren, but the entire alarm unit), 7 sirens 2 inside cabin, 3 inside trunk, 2 outside car. I liked the Dynatron I had, it had no physical kill switch, it had a electronic chip inside my remote which it needs to start the car, very similar to BMW key.

Another E39 here, but I think the standard filter does the job for me. Most of the time I have the recirculating button on 'A' and if I see a cloud of black smoke I just press the recirculating button on the steering wheel to block it.

Just had a look at the Jap owner's manual, it says above 95 octane premium gas required.

Wonder if it would increase my performance by 30% if I get two of them and set them up in series ? Or if I split my intake like a Y shape and install one of each on each side, it should act as if I have a twin turbo, right? ..... Damn .. I should ask the buyer these questions.
