My PS pump is making horibl;e noises. I'm pretty sure its leaking. When i got it serviced the guy topped it up and it was sweet for a month or two. My question is what fluid do I use? AT fluid or is there special stuff? Also where exactely is the bit to put it in. I dont wanna put PS fluid in my brakes! Oh e30 325i (m20)

How is that 218kw bm drivable? Mine is a joke in the wet, yours must be verging on illegal/menace to society!

Post went away. I heard about some CD ROM where you can put in your chasis/engine number or some number under the hood, and it tells you everything about your specific vehicle. What is this CD. I was originally told there was a web site, is this true? Anyone know what I am talking about?

My M-tech I has a black bit down the side, Mtech II doesnt. Can u take it off or something?

Dude i am the biggest advocate of keeping your car original, but the Grill has already been painted black hasnt it? Originally they are crome right? Well recroming to original would cost $$$ And e30s like mine(My Car) have the kidney grill painted the same colour as the car.... hence why i reckon you should paint it red, or chrome.

I would have liked a face lift but they were just a bit too dear. I reckon they are different cars, differnt look y'know, my one has a more boxy look, facelift more roundy. Your in for a long wait. I looked for 5 months for mine. And like someone said I left notes on everyone i saw, i even asked dudes at the lights, "hey bro, nice car wanna sell it?" Responce was always NO. Becareful of rebadged/kitted fakes too. They are really a modern classic now.

Well took to mechanic, said the cam belt is about to break! I was gonna drive it all weekend and take it in on Monday. I only had it serviced a wek ago, he didint pick it up.... sooo lucky oh and LSD is not good. You get addicted to looking out the side window and then the rear view, then going back to check your two black lines

Na it is definately coming from the engine and is there even when stationary. Sounds like its coming from the alternator. do these go noisey when the pack up?

This quite loud noise has started in my 325. Sounds like it is coming from the alternator. It doesnt vary with engine speed. Kind of like a bearing grinding skreeching noise. I know its hard, any ideas? My plan is to spray with CRC. Are alternators exxy? MY Dad warned me about buying cars with 300k on them...
