  1. I reckon leave handles chrome and kids chrome. Bit different. But looks mean.

/edit; did you get your crystal repeaters from trader 'euro_parts' in Onehunga? I had the exact same prob. if so then ha. Hopefully Ollie will solve it.

As for trucks, damn they hot. I wanted one but the amount of time it'll spend off road wasn't worth it for me at this stage. Should keep this as your daily!

  2. Like the roof pic. If you roughly cost the amount put in including purchase and transportation and getting them running, and to what you could probably sell for now, how much have you made ?

    Nice collection too...

  3. Cheers for the comments.

    As for the interior work......

The seats have been rebuilt to as close as original as we could get. Its been fitted with a Momo wheel, and the original Panasonic AM only radio cassette has been replaced with a early Electronic Alpine unit.

The carpets are the original "speckled" carpets and are in good nick, and only one of the door wood trims will need to be replaced/repaired as the timber is starting to delaminate.

Wow, car must have been in good knick too. But really is a very tidy example. Grats bro.

  4. Another way to keep a form of ID is to buy a replacement ID for $35, takes 2 weeks to be processed then you have two cards, one fr the police etc.

Is that deal where if you pay more than the fine asks they wipe the debt and credit you with a cheque and if you don't bank it they don't add the demerits?

  5. When do your other points expire? If you're luckey you can hold it off 'til the points expire so you have room for more?

I've had 5 speeding tickets this year, only one counted for demerits ;P

Also, its quite hard to get pulled over if you look out for dodgey holdens with no hub caps...

  6. Every week I get a complaint from TM admin on one of my few accounts. Just wave it off and if you were in the right, keep doing it heh. I have also found it really hard to get ahold of anyone freely, but if you look around in the help section you can get some e-mail boxes that give you a RL person's address. I lost y one though :/

  7. I recently did the whole front grill. Take it all off and in pieces [remove chrome - tad difficult].

Use a high grit sand paper [fine texture - I used wet and dry, works well].

I then bought a can of Dulux grey AC Metal Primer that I've used on many outdoor plastics, and primered the lot.

Then waited to dry [did both sides of everything], more wet and dry light sanding occured.

Waited for water to quickly evaporate as I used a lil water under flood lights for fast drying.

Used Dulux Satin Black spray can to finish it off enuring I covered all primered parts getting into every cranny in the grills outter side.

Wait to dry, don't rush and put it all back together. Also, mask off the rubber above the headlights grille as paint + rubber = no no. Getting new screws or painting the heads black can help if you don't chip the paint again.

  8. Bring in the sniper in a loud as fook army chooper or the eagle with one of those engine immobilisers that screw the electrics...

Soon we will see coppers pull up to the car with their windows down and fire a taser through the aircon system

But really, if it is publically announced that the cops full out at XX kph who won't push for that liimit as they know they can get away?

Sort of like announcing where the secret key is hidden in a jail cell. From what I know, the fact that cops have the discretion to pull out when they feel the situation is out of hand is enough for me.
