If they are made for vechiles it won't cause any melting etc, thats just silly. As said above, if you are perpared to buy new ones every half year then go for the brighter look!

Hah pretty sweet? Got any shots of the installation? What are you running? Still got the spare tire? Guess you'll need standard shocks/springs in the rear now huh?
^^
How hard if I was to do your ///M on the boot lid underside in your opinion?
Did you use any sound deadning?
-
I got no idea, but whatever they do -- whats stopping it from cracking in another spot?
-
Gots pics of yours? Looks promising. How much for the materials?

Unsure if its what you're after, but got a cheap e30 auto [larger] radiator only. Has a small crack in the plastic casing or by the top left outlet piping. Takes over 10mins to leak. Could be a very cheap fix, good radiator otherwise. Akld based. Offer.

Got a fart hold in my drivers seat, would prefer front two seats to match. Leave your mod. num. or e-mail and I'll send you a pxt as my digi currently out of order of my current material.
Cheaper the better, only wanting a temp. fix. Can replace yours with mine for even cheaper! Aucks only :/

If you do an advanced search under expired auctions you will notice some have been selling in excess of $580, but price has come down by $100 as you have found.
If you have some patience, see here (bimmersport) for 2 people atm wanting a group buy. Otherwise I'd say $480 is at the lower end of the prices.

ill be bringing my car down to christchurch next year early february, i'd be keen to meet up with you all sometime around then. Just have to earn 17 grand for uni in 3 months and then get down one week before O week. good fun
Err, how do you plan to earn 17gs in a few months? LET ME IN! [not prostitution right?]

Ok, so I changed thermostat -- car is no-longer over-heating on the temp. gauge, but the "Overheat" red led above head is still on, and flickers every now and then. I managed to drive the car for well over 2hrs at mixed speeds and the temp. gauge stayed under half. Possible that the led has shorted somehow or more likely that I should replace the hibicus fan also then get checked by a pro?
[Car drives awesome tho, love the idle sound]
-
Note: Getting Hibicus fan + thermostat

Wouldn't be surprised if you have an air block, i had problems with mine, and ended up putting the garden hose up the small bottom return hose and turning it on untill water was coming out the bleeder screw and the top return hose from the block.
Yeah could do, but we are pretty confident. No air bubbling and we bleed it with the top hose before attaching it the hoses back up.

Hrm, well after installing the radiator, [easier than I thought], we idled the car and after 10ish mins the temp. gauge started to rise and the coolant/water started to boil. Pressure was building up in the top pipe yet had no air left. So we are now thinking its a thermostat problem as-well so am getting a replacement tomorrow morning from Ray again, should have a running car before the night is out!
-
Cool, yeah will talk to Ray first thing tomorrow. I'm getting 320i
-
Heh sweet. So whats next on your audio plans? On my old car a cheap pair of tweeters is where I started, I laugh at it now ;P
-
Yeah thats what I thought but wasn't sure if anything else I needed to know. Cool.
Basically next on the agenda will be a manual conversion so anyone in Auks that has parts PM me!
Ahh also, talked to a chap 'Ray' from the shore that I've noticed a few others here have talked to and will be getting an auto radiator [larger] tomorrow morning for $120. Primo. May go to him for some manual parts unless you guys have some ? ? ?
-
Never mind lol had a play with them and figured it out...sounds sweet..tiny lil speakers make such a bg difference aye.
Yeah can do. Post pics of your mount. A good tip is to point tweeters to the windscreen [away from you]
so what do you guys think?

Should grab some black screws [or black screw caps] for your hinges; pity you couldn't grab some hinges that open from beneath?
With the huge 'firewall' bit in the boot and passenger seats, did you remove any extra of it?
