The problem with Andre 3000's loom is this, at pin 20 of the c101 connector runs a red wire with a white trace, this wire comes from the main efi relay so it has a 12v positive feed on it when the ignition is switched on, on the fuse box side of the c101 connector at pin 20 is a brown wire, brown = earth so when the ignition is switched on smoke and destruction happens due to a short circuit to ground. So obviously the looms supplied cannot be a matched pair, Either a correct loom is needed or the right information to correct this loom to do the job.

Problem now solved, the burnt wire from the efi main relay is to power up the abs, this engine loom has now been fitted to a car without abs which has an earth wire instead of the wire to power up the abs control unit. The wire in question will be removed as it's not required.
