how have you got so far up the levels? I'm not good enough/too impatient to do some of the harder special events and there dont seem to be many races left. Seasonal events get pretty good XP but last time i checked there wasnt any new ones to do. NASCAR stuff is really frustrating with only controller

factory amp for speakers, used a small class d alpine amp for the sub, 350rms from memory. I looked at changing the speakers and amps but decided it wasn't worth messing too much with it as I wasnt planning on having the car that long.

the audio system is not that flash considering what the cars would have cost new

I had a soundstream 10" in my e39 and was plenty loud enough. meant I could reduce the amount of bass going through the main speakers and they sounded much better

99.9% of drivers aren't Incary so would most likely be perfectly happy with BC golds, for those that are theres Koni's.

FWIW i loved my old e30 on (standard) bilsteins with whiteline springs, more than good enough for an amature hack

A friend of mine got diversion when he crashed his car, careless or reckless driving I think. despite witnesses saying how fast he was driving before he crashed. that was a 5 years ago so things might have changed since then.

0-100 in mid 6 second bracket.. so more than adequate IMHO, do you need to accelerate faster than that on the road?

dont bother modding the 530i, just get the 540i and be done with it. would take a lot of money to get the 530i anywhere near the V8. even then a 540i is still not that fast off the line. awesome for overtaking though

Why does my newly purchased M3 CSL (in black of course) have shitty, ugly, god-awful, convex standard M3 wheels?

cos they f**ked it up- pissed me off too. from memory they got it right in GT4 so dont know how its wrong now. cant even change the wheels yourself to fix it

I didn't really like the xmas special. Some funny bits of course but it just all seemed a bit too 'same old' I reckon they were at their best with robin space shuttles, mini ski jumps etc

Went in to Noel Lemmings yesterday on the off chance they had some left, three on the shelf so didn't have the hassle of pre booking it, so far i reckon it's quite good! Got an EK Civic as the first car, sounds like a Vtec Honda which i think is pretty cool, fitted pod and exhaust and now sounds even better!

Can anyone explain why it starts smoking hard out on either side of the car after two to three laps on any given track? Don't have to hit anything, just starts smoking?

Have they made the game so real that they even put in smokey engine syndrome Seems to come from front wheels as if they're rubbing.

probably the tyres, but if not maybe give it an oil change. I went for FC RX7 for first car. Moved onto an M Coupe now though.
