My name is not Jesus. Why did you use that particular name ? Is this forum for " God's sake " ? Maybe I should call myself Jesus ? Yes...the ONLY comment that you articulated correctly was the one that said that you have no idea who I are (am).
-
Once again, personal attack with patronising comment.
-
How about you just answer the question thank you .Like I said, I will be happy to visit you. I also have friends that I think live nearby so you don't have to worry about putting me up or anything like that.
-
You were abusive...end of story.
-
Please stick to the topic thank you and refrain from making personal derogatory comments.
-
Now , now, you are being rude and I am sure that you are not complying with forum protocol. By the way, where do you live ? If you are available I will visit you in the next two days. We could discuss your attitude.
-
And your contribution to this thread is what sorry ?
-
Again, please just stick to the topic.
-
I am not your mate. Your ' personal ' attacks are uncalled for. Do not tell me to get a life. You know nothing about me. Stay off of your keyboard with your abuse please. If you wish to contact me then please say so, otherwise please keep to the topic on this thread. By the way...'rules' is spelt like that.
-
Well, here we go. 1) you are out of order because you refer to me by name (and I do not even know you) and the protocol on international forums is to refer to people by their user name. 2) you are further out of order by making incorrect comments implying that I have not spent more than 5 minutes of my time contributing/ viewing this forum. You statement is invalid. 3) You wish to patronise me by suggesting that " it would be wise ....". You further make a personal attack at me by accusing me of " sarcastic remarks ". 4) you finish off your rhetoric by further attempts to patronise me with your statement " perhaps showing the same sort of respect you seem so desperate to get....etc " You sir are mistaken. If I were moderating this board I would ban you for a month on the spot. There is nothing at all that I have said that warrants your abuse. There is everything in international board rules that warrants you being displaced immediately. I have nothing more to say to you, other than, if this admin does not censor your outrageously obnoxious behaviour here then I will be absolutely amazed.
-
Simon, please show the members respect by not referring to them as ' muppets ' and ' kids '. And lay off with the threats to ' hit the ban button '. Moderators should moderate...not be despotic. (and no, the " I just meant it to be tongue in cheek " rhetoric is not valid/ acceptable).

Oh..ok, that is good thanks. Well, I popped onto s14.net today (haven't done that for a while since we set up our own thing on s14 power .com) and I noticed a thread about where Sport Evo's (Evo3's) are around the planet. What surprised me was that there was not a lot of dialogue about who knows where they exist. OK...there were guys in Ireland and UK and other Countries but one could hardly get the impression that they are significantly accounted for. You know...maybe 3 in Aussi, a few in Ireland etc. etc. Nothing like even close to the 600 or so that were manufactured. And Dr. John (Germany) says that he knows of two that have zero miles and are under wraps over in Germany It will always come down to what people perceive as desirable and therefore valuable...because if you buy it and lose interest then you are comfy that there is someone else around the corner that will pay you for the desirable car. And that is correct thinking imho. I feel that I can say with all integrety...you would be hard pressed to find a better internationally accepted valuable E30M3 than a Sport Evolution. Cheers to all.

Oh, of course. I'm really not the beast that Cam B would encourage me to be :-) The Evo 11 is a superb piece of kit. It has the highest compression ratio in all the E30M3's (including the Sport Evo or EVO3 as some of us refer to it as) and although it is still the 2.3L and previous evolution to the 2.5L Evo 3 it is still a great car. Did you know that the Sport Evo was available to the public (limited numbers obviously) in black or red ? The Red looks great ! There were also two known (and rumoured to be 3 or 4 ) special white ones that were given to the race drivers at the time. They had modified engines that were putting out (I am confident but not 100%) around 260 hp at the flywheel instead of 238hp at the flywheel as per the 'standard' SE. My ex-SE (the subject car in question in this thread) is up around 289/290 hp. It is a whole different car with A/P 4 pots on the front and 2 pots on the rear (race brakes), 3.64 rebuilt diff with 50% lock up instead of the factory 3.15 with 25% lock. It has full Motec stand alone engine management with kk290 performance cams and DTM airbox. It has performance built one-off stainless steel headers and exhaust. It is not dead stock. But then if you can't enjoy a 1990 car on the track or street then go get a job dusting off the dynosaurs at the museum I reckon...
-
Huh ? Makes what ' black EVO look stink ' ? Please explain .
-
Yeah, bring it Cam B...let us all know when you want to sell your M3. I am looking forward to critique your marketing ...
-
Incorrect. 1) this car, when it was brought into NZ cost in excess of 120k to put on the road (and that's before I got my hands on it :-) ). That means that anyone else trying to do the same would be up for that expense...unless the regs / laws change (btw, the guy that paid for the conversion is not a dumb arse and is well known to the racing fraternity). 2) To say that it has no 'interesting history, racing or otherwise' is, with respect, a naive comment. The E30M3 Sport Evo was/is a street car so it has no racing history per se. As for interesting history ' otherwise '...well, it is internationally regarded amongst the purists as the epitome of E30M3 versions and is lusted after by many. The fact that it has a right hand drive conversion should not deter. Many UK E30M3's were converted as such by Byrds and other Companies. Nonetheless, this particular car has had all its wiring harness left in place on purpose so that IF anyone wanted to be seriously anal and convert it back to left hand drive, that is very doable. Hope that doesn't seem like I am picking on you mate. Just wanting to set the record straight please. Cheers.

Thanks Doug. Good to see some sensible and grounded reply.

Why, do you have one for sale ? I am not aware of any available so perhaps you will enlighten us all 'Cam b ' ?

Good indpendent BMW (E46) mechanic in wellington?
OSCAR replied to wild_weston's topic in General Discussion
Well, I'll be sure to forward your sentiments on to the guys. They have been in business for a very long time. Spent 18 months restoring one of my cars. Sorry to hear about your issue. One wonders...did you try and sort it out ?? -

Powerhaus (499 8715) for install and Richard Gillies (Petone) for dyno tune. These guys prepare a heck of a lot of the targa race cars, the Porsche series cars and more. Don't faff around with the try-hards. -
I am sorry, but I do find your post both strange and ambiguous. What is it that you are trying to tell us all ? (yawn). Look, the car in question is a Euro spec, NZ new E30M3. It has the Euro 5 speed dog leg box (standard), the classic 2.3L S14 16 valve 4 cylinder engine with really, not too many miles on it.....it has the black leather interior fully refurbished by known experts, it has a full new paint job in the original factory colour, it has an expensive Brembo Brake upgrade....and the big bling wheels. All Kiwi, straight up car....what the hell is your problem ?????? It is CHEAP...grab it.

Hi, I do understand what you are saying here, however, please bear in mind that I have a very rare BMW car for sale here and I have some disparaging comments being made on a BMW forum that many of my potential buyers may be reading and given that those comments are basically incorrect....do you not think it reasonable for me to reply with the facts of the matter ?
