  1. After driving both the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux, id say the Hilux is a better alround ute. We went with the Hilux for Dads business because it has MUCH more interior space without losing tray space. The engine is much more smooth than the Ford and alot quieter. The double cab has good space in the back and i have ample leg room (6"2).

Fords are cheaper but if you wait abit you will find a dedent Hilux for good value, and they hold the prices too.

  2. I went and had a look at this car last week. It was mint, apart from bonnet which needs a re-spray as the owner said. However on cold start up it blew a bit of smoke, and it was a singapore import.

Nothing seriously wrong with the car though, bit gutless for a V8, no power under 4000 rpm.

  3. Nope they arent James old wheels.

BTW Graham i was up north at the start of december watching the yacht racing out at KeriKeri and saw your car parked up outside the club looked wicked, i parked up next too you but must have missed you.

  4. Loving the wheels, where abouts did you get the roof racks from?

I have been looking for ages

    Cheers,

Got the roof racks off trademe about two years ago. They are 'rola' ones, proven to be very good, and not that loud at all on the windy open road, have even had two kayaks on them :)

  5. So the engine mounts were past there used by date on the old m20, and since theres been a few people out there doing these at the moment i thought some might benefit from this info.

The mount shop do them at a great price and sell a nice German made ' Swag ' engine mount.

    Part number: 04A004
