  1. From what I've read, this is the only option. The Aux-in was added in the 2006 model. If the car had the Nav-unit version of the head unit installed then it wouldn't be an issue.
  2. Glenn, this should show you my issues: Creaking front brakes: Ignore the jingle of my keys, you can hear how loud the brakes creaking are while I'm stopped, transmission in D and pumping the brakes. http://youtu.be/cyZEuQZfTuY Squeeking rear suspension: I'm sitting on rear of the car bouncing on the suspension. http://youtu.be/GoxAPFoZEx4
  3. Thanks, it still does it with the handbrake off. I may make a booking with you later this month - the front brakes also squeak very loudly when coming to a complete stop or taking off from a stop - I know that a small squeak in an auto is normal, but this is very loud. The torque setting seems to be correct or close to it.
  4. I used to have the white letters on black plates from germanplates.com which I got pulled over for and had to go back to originals. But obviously, that's much more apparent as fake. Other than the font, the NZ versions look pretty real.
  5. I want to retain my factory headdeck in my E85, looking for advice before I install: - Parrot CK3100 bluetooth car kit - Aux-in mod I have purchased: - Parrot CK3100 kit - Parrot ISO cable for my factory headdeck - Auxillary-in mod for my factory headdeck (utilises the input where the factory CD stacker would usually plug into) - Female 3.5mm jack to RCAs to replace the male version that came with the Auxillary mod. For the auxillary in, I'd like it to be added where it is on the '06-'08 models pictured here. Will require a small hole to be drilled: I've done plenty of car audio installations myself, but never retaining the factory headdeck before - am I opening a can of worms, or should this be relatively simple?
  6. Just so you know, I will cancel the auction sell these outside of trademe to a Bimmersport member for the reserve price of $550.
  7. I'm keen. These plates are actually illegal right? You guys had any problems wearing them on the road?
  8. Even with the car completely off, while hand brake is on, if I use my hands to push down on the wheel arch - it squeaks, does it on both sides. Thanks for the info, I will check. (Car is at 70k)
  9. SOLD Thanks. Off my E85: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=437808162
  10. Looking for the brushed aluminium dash trim for an E85. Also keen on a hard top if someone out there has one.
  11. Replaced my stock 17" wheels with 18" M3 replicas. But now when stopped, if I pump the brakes, I can hear the rear suspension creaking on both sides. Definitely did not happen before the wheel change. Any clues as to what this is? Bushes?
  12. Hey, thanks - I actually bought a brand new 16" one this morning, with jack and wheel brace for $280. So that's sorted, now I can forget about RFT at least. May come visit you in the new year and see what wheels/tyres you have on offer, cheers.
  13. Hi, where can I buy a space saver wheel to suit a BMW Z4 E85? Prefer brand new. I want to replace my stock wheels with aftermarket, non-run flat tyres and as a result will need a space saver.
  14. Hi there, I just bought a BMW Z4 3.0i 2004. I am seeing a double image in the auto-dim rear view mirror. Can this be fixed? Or does it need replacing? Thanks for your help.
