You and me both. Id like to add Mountain biking slash biking in general. Sunny days in the E30 with the roof open. Completing something that you never thought you would accomplish.

Get your torch, then slide the seat right back. Lie on your back in the footwell. (assuming your a small guy) Look right up in very top corner of the dash board. Look for rust, or green mouldy stuff. Get a mate to pour water all over the front of the car and around the sunroof (like were talking bucket loads) and just watch for drips. Failing that, pull out the trim that goes over the vents and have a good look in there. I know your original question was how to take the dash out, but honestly its more trouble than its worth.

Paulie, mate! Dont compress your springs dude. Get some quality springs. Get in touch with Keith at H&R suspension and tell him you came from bimmersport. He will sort you out with a deal. Ill give you a hand to install the springs if you want to save a bit of cash that way.

Its a PITA. Would pay to just pull the kick panels and glovebox/trim out. Then pull the carpets back and inspect from there. Look up under the aircon vents or around the bottom of the A pillars, E30s characteristically rust in those spots. Edit: Another thing to check is the drains for the airconditioning vents. They are on the firewall inside the engine bay, sometimes they block up and let water run inside the firewall.

My wagon was $274 at Tint-Tech on lake road. They did a 9/10 job that left me pretty damn satisfied! Nice and dark too. only bummer is that I have put a nice scratch on the back window in the tint from having my bike in the boot!

Definitely noticeable, but not overkill. Ive seen/tried other short shift kits in E30s and comparitively this one is a nice gentle, but noticeable one.

Short shifter and the two bushings that I can supply you. makes a world of difference. and maybe some new gearbox oil. Get a wheel alignment
