I have created a new thread on the projects forum.

So im making a new thread as my last one was heading this way. I bought my 130i last week for a beautiful price of $3900. The car was owned by a lady for the 4 years since it has been imported. Its an 06 manual it looks lowered but i could be wrong as it doesnt have aftermarket shocks or springs in it. Has a full Arqray tail section stainless exhaust, which sounds great. I have since debadged the silly 3.0 si badge. It has an open diff which is a bit frustrating. The car is going in on thursday for a tune. I'm also grabbing a new rear BMW badge off Brent at some stage. Here is some photos that i have so far.

yeah been meaning to pull it off but dont really want to debadge so need to order original badge

They actually sound bloody good ill put it on the hoist tommorow to see what they are i can see that its something you buy off shelf not a custom made one

Hey everyone so i sold the 635csi and jumped on this really cheap 130i in manual. It has an aftermarket rear muffler is there anything worth doing that will see me get some good gains in power. Cheers

Yep money issues covid hasnt done me well ive worked through with my hours cut back by 30% so need to free up some money to get me through

Update: Have got the car going runs really well. Oil & filter done Leaking frost plug changed Power steering fluid changed and bled Brake fluid changed and bled. Drove it home and spent saturday polishing it up with the mrs. Came up better than expected. Starting to like this car more and more. Especially with how little its costed me so far.

Thanks I am trying to source a good condition original steering wheel. Also got to find some centre caps which i dont think will be possible. I have only 1

Just a little thread. Is there any accurate way of seeing how many 635csi are in the country. I have looked on car jam but it all depends on how they get registered. There is alot of different ways they have done it over the years 635csi 635c.s.i 635CSI Just some examples From a rough add up theres about 100 but there is many configurations

Can confirm it is the M90 dont know if thats good or not. Also got told the valve guides may be on there way out thats why it got taken off the road. Apparently got a little smoky after it got driven when warm

yeah i just looked at it looks like it is. Is that a hard fix or will a need a new cluster??

i just updated it so its on hold again now thankfully
