  1. Yea, this is the 4th one ive broken between the 2cars, Live in a rural area

    Im used to replacing them!

Oh really? You'd think you would get a discount on them by now! Maybe you should buy in bulk? I ended up just putting mesh where they went, looks different and i don't have to replace them!

  2. Broke the LHS foglight and mounting bracket, well a possum did.

    Spotted these on trade me.

Are they any better than the factory item? Thoughts?

If not i'll just buy a factory one

I feel for you, the exact same thing happened to me whilst driving the old mans e36 - i was cursing for the next week about it, there was nothing left of the foglight apart from the wire and the bottom of the bulb!!

Oh and a handy tip - remove the bumper to do anything with foglights, i've broken both of mine on my e36 by trying to remove them with the bumper on!

  4. i have an e30 '86 325i manual 4dr which is standard and mint. i also have an e30 '85 318i manual 4dr which is standard but needs a new clutch and has a few bits of rust. i would part with either. pm me if your interested and i can give you more details.

  5. So i just got round to taking a few quick 'unwashed' pics of my new e30. '86 nz new 325i manual sedan, in a beautiful colour too!

Overall the condition is pretty good. No cracks in dash! Has rust in roof and sunroof, and a small bit by both rear lights - which is getting done next week. Interior is creamish colour and very good for age too. Full toolkit bar 1 piece! Aside from that drives well, and seems to be fine.

It's losing 40mm in height hopefully tonight (thanks to keith (suspension) for the H&R's!!!) I'll post after shots once done - then some wheels and a few little things and she'll be good!

    Kerry.

  6. damn thats expensive!! on friday i just got 2x 225x45x17 dunlop dz101 dirreza's for dads car, only $167ea and was quoted $225ea for dunlop sportmaxx in same size. if you need tyres give me a shout next time - might not be able to get you my deals, but it should definatly be alot cheaper than that! i know some people, good people!

  7. or just pushing bad taste

i like the wheels - could've looked so much better on 20's and not so much of a drop imo. definatly got the Chrysler 300C look.

however each to their own - the world would be a boring place if we all liked the same thing, and for that matter hated the same things.Posted Image

  8. Well either list it at no reserve, or lower the price considerably if you want to attract a quick sale.

When listing at $1 reserve, your car would never sit at $1... But it could go for $500, $1000, $1500, $2000... The market will decide.

i know it wouldn't stay at $1 but i'd hate to let it go for less than i think its worth - so with that in mind, i'll say $1500!! got me down $500 without even lookin to buy it!

  9. Put your balls on the line and list it $1 Reserve on TradeMe. That will tell you its market value.

Looks like a tidy car, so you should get some decent interest. You could even be quite suprised to see what you may end up getting for the car.

haha yea in theory thats a great idea!! but if it goes for $1 i'll be pretty gutted! i'd rather it go to a good home - its unmolested stock standard. I'm yet to put it on trademe, be nice if it went to a bsport member! i'd prob let it go for less to a member anyway, instead of it goin to a boy ricer whose gonna sack it out on chromies! 10. Still have most parts from this car, also just removed the m50 2.5 engine. Anyone keen on it? in all honesty have no idea what its worth, throw me a reasonable offer and you'll probably own it! Its done 200clicks, and had always been serviced by page euro in wgtn.
