  1. What are they worth to send to CHCH?
  2. Hey guys, stripped the 323i because racecar. Have entire black interior excluding Dash and steering wheel. Half leather seats (drivers is average) Black sunroof headlining Black pillar trims etc. Black carpet Black seat belts. Boot trims All handles etc blah blah Door cars are average and parcel tray is faded 0273677368 Anyway its all free to a good home on two conditions, You take it all and it has to go by Saturday arvo or Im taking it all to the dump.
  3. Its got an Alpina lip on the front which is a nice addition, Ive been told that the 850 suffers from a bit of front end lift at high speeds (not that Ill be doing them) Will get more photos up after the crap weather passes
  4. 1990 850i, 66000km, left hand drive. Now I can drive round like a super successful 90s business man......
  5. 64000 miles http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-M5-4-9-E39-2...=item4ac6ca755e 60000 miles http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2002-BMW-M5-5-0-...=item19df748b7a 65000 miles http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E39-M5-Low-M...=item25815db6bc Seems to be a common time to sell them in the UK. Still all of those m5s would cost you more in time and money than finding a local example, so I havent really helped at all.
  6. E36 Coupe 323i Msport, converted to manual, 322xxxkms e39 18s, Would love light panel work, a repaint and new door trims WOF and REG $3500
  7. Its a shame that the whole Ks phallacy is so highly regarded as gospel. What really matters is service history and current condition upon inspection. For example one guy could have a car with 200000km who has meticulously maintained it, serviced every 10000km, with all major item addressed at their due intervals, someone who much like yourself does higher ks during the year. The second guy has the exact same car, he bought it new with 300kms on the clock, now its rolling over 47000 and its still running the same oil it left the factory with. Now I realise youre going to say "well thats just ridiculous, noone would do that" but I myself have replaced 3 engines on new vehicles, the lowest 8 months old at 31000km due to NO servicing
  8. Lol, pretty much what I was thinking! Miles, from what Ive found people just dont like to pay money for BMWs regardless of condition. If you look at wanted ads on here when it comes to 36's everyone want the big engine, manual, low ks and mint condition (generally in a coupe) but they want it all for under 5500. Then you go to the real world and see that cars like that are few and far between. The BM market really is a strange thing. As RJS said though lower ks is a draw card (as most people are firm believers in the KM fallacy) and it depends on your deadline for sale. If youre not worried about shifting it quickly, ask a higher price and hope that the right buyer comes along but beware of it becoming a stale listing on trademe.
  9. Thanks, it looked like this when I got it last year I should be downstairs finishing it instead of on the interwebs but hey.
  10. Brent you showoff I think the best plan is to leave the e36 as it is, no point investing more money In a car with 322222km as high mileage scares everyone away. Ill just drive it, the way it likes to be driven..... maybe upgrade to an LSD.... Also I dont need another project as this is the Stagea
  11. Bang on, I hadnt checked the emission codes till after I posted. As much as I want to salvage my e36 coupe in the form of a wagon I think Im best just to finish my Stagea and use that for wagon duties and keep the e36 as a beater, I enjoy driving it and I guess thats what really matters.
  12. Still got mine, fresh wof, new rear lower trailing arm bushes and a wheel alignment, would leave you plenty of change to play with
  13. Thanks for the answer and the offer Brent, but I think Ill be looking for a 6cyl. Kyu, theres 6 on TM at the moment and I also have the capability to import my own from Japan eg http://img.jcarinfo.net/gix.php?&op=45...0&inya=true Although Id certainly prefer a motorsport. The only reason Id look at a conversion is because no one is interested in the coupe due to the high KMs, bloody car dealers and their KM battles!
  14. as in the title, will my e36 manual stuff work in an e46 chassis without modification to mounts etc? Drive shaft length and bolt pattern? clutch pedal and master? Obviously the centre console wont fit. Maybe after a 6cyl e46 wagon considering I cant find an e36 Cheers

    E36 Coupe

Just buy my 323i and spend 4grand making it badass... no? Was worth a try
  16. Ah man, Id love a manual 540
  17. Fresh WOF today, new rear lower trailing arm front bushes and a wheel alignment. $4000ONO 0273677368
  18. Youve got them all!!!! I assume you will post your wifes car up here IF you decide to sell. I thought reshelling my coupe would be the cheapest option to try for a wagon, plus that way Im guaranteed to keep the manual, wheels and the msport kit. Also no one really seems to interested in buying a high km slightly rough coupe. Thanks for the reply Brent
  19. I know theyre uncommon but anything guys?
  20. Hey guys, Im after an E36 Wagon body to rebody my coupe into. I dont mind if its dereg, rolling or not etc etc, preferably straight with tailgate, doors, glass and interior at a minimum but anything is considered. So all you dismantlers if youve got something get at me. Cheers
  21. Would you be able to drop them at the local mainfreight for me?
  22. Still on offer and I do say ONO on the price. Will put her through a fresh wof next week. Alternatively If I can get a presale list of buyers for parts I could strip it as it appears to be worth more in bits Full Msport kit M5 18s with warrantable tyres getrag 260 5spd conversion with lightweight flywheel and HD clutch kit m52b25 - m50 intake air bags etc registered Couple body shell
  23. No stress dude, Im not in a rush to part with it anyway as Its still my daily

    E36 Coupe

    Haha, no worries dude
  25. Yeah, I will put a new wof on when its due. I understand that but a cut and polish isnt going to fix the bumper or sunroof. In all honesty I thought a tidy up might be something the new owner would want to do to bond with the car lol. The rx7 was at my neighbours workshop getting a rollcage fitted. While Im sure its more than capable the tyre pile is just from worn out tyres off my customers vehicles Cheers for the input though guys
