Congrats.. tidy E30's on tradme been selling a treat
-
Oh yeee, that could be an option .. $450! ouch also these are 5x114.3
-
Will definitely need some big spacers at the rear no doubt, probably going to mean that I can't get much dish going?
-
Why is that? Think it will be cutting it close on the outer guards?
-
Right, thinking of picking up this set now.. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=278149439 2 x BBS RS 137 5 x 114.3 stud pattern 16 X 7" 45 Offset 60.1mm hub 0.5" drop lips 2 x BBS RS 225 5 x 114.3 stud pattern 16 x 8" 45 Offset 60.1mm hub 1" drop lip Seems like these came off a civic or some other front wheel drive car judging from the high offset. To get this to work I will of course have to get them to the right PCD, source the largest spacers I am legally allowed (27mm?) which also have hub centric rings to fill up the larger centre bore back down to 57.1mm. In theory if this all works out it should work quite well as I need huge spacers to clear BBK's anyhow and this will decrease the offset to something acceptable on an E30 leaving me as much room at the guards as possible for future expansion (bigger sexier outer lips). It's going to be costly as **** but hopefully worth the effort in the end. Anyone see any immediate issues I have not accounted for?

It's ridiculous.. how it squeezes that much power out of the engine and still stays in one piece is beyond me ay! Can it safely maintain 17 pounds?
-
Just got a demo of this thing the other night... holy crap you have done well! It CERTAINLY lives up to it's plate. It's ruthless.
-
E36 M3 and keep 12k in your pocket Sam
-
Question was that newbie ay.. ok, will keep researching.
-
Yeh, saw that last night. Could be interesting..
-
Great find.. sell it to me

Ok, for those in the know I need some expert advice. Will the following work with minimal guard roll: 16x8.5 ET14 16x8.5 ET35 18x9 ET20 Also, it's quite likely I will need to get spacers to clear the big brakes so will want a buffer on the offset. From my understanding... the threshold for an E30 is ET 15 - 35 So, all the above should theoretically work expect ET14 is going to be cutting it too close if spacers are needed (assuming adding spacers decreases the offset further)?
-
Haha, keen to jump on board ?
-
Yeh? The 4 lug re-drill going to be too costly?
-
You sir are my f**king hero... that is EXACTLY what I have in mind...
-
Basically what I'm doing too lol.
-
Sweet will get it looked at. PS for those that like the app, please post up a review on our fan page !

Gonna damn well try >.<
-
Yeh? Yet to see something like this in Chch..
-
Honestly, I might have just gotten myself into sh*t creek without a paddle. Still not quite sure what option I am going to take but it's going to cost me some serrious coin man So far looking into re-drill vs 5 lug conversion costs, the big brake kit I have does not help as it also throws another spanner in the mix with regards what what offset will work. Almost ready to cry just about now but I will figure something out. I am complete newb when it comes to this sh*t too which means I'm researching all available resources to try and figure out the best way.
-
Ouch.. way to put a damper on the whole thing guys.. I just love how it looks not fussed on if it's rare or not.. Having said that, I am jumping through a million hoops to get this to work so if I am not in on something please enlighten me??

Yeh, an issue we have to address. It's developed in WPF (XAML & C#) so you need .net 3.5 framework on your machine. If you leave it be it will eventually install just there is no feedback telling you it's setting it up (may take a while). Best plan is to download .net 3.5 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en We are doing everything we can to fix this as it's really hurting users with non-updated windows XP machines.
