hi guys, FYI you can get a cert with two different wheel sizes on it. I have this in writing from the Technical Advisory Committee of the LVVTA. I'll be certing 17x8's all round and 17x9 fronts and 17x11.5 rears...
-
now taking offers for the wheels or tyres or combo.... cheers.
-
Hey VeeDub, Do you know what the bbs hex tools are worth? for removing centre caps.
-
price dropped again... $750 for wheels and tyres or make me a reasonable offer
-

Hi, I got these 5x120 et15 wheels off a guy who bought them new for a holden and then realised the offset was wrong... They're brand new and look like they've never even had tyres mounted on them. The only thing with them is that he had put HSV badges over the BMW badge in the middle of the rim. When I pulled these off, one or two of the HSV badges bent the BMW badges ever so slightly. This is barely noticible even right up close, and if its a real big deal you could get new badges from a mag shop. I was gonna keep them but have since found some BBS splits, which interest me more. The tyres I'm selling are not brand new, but have only travelled a few k's. This is shown in the pics, where the factory moulding marks are still visible on the tyre. They're Hankook Ventus HRII, 235/45/17's I'm after $900 for the wheels and tyres together (not mounted though) or $500 for the wheels or tyres on their own. Wheels are located in Lower Hutt, Wellington. Pick up only, unless I can't sell them locally at the above price. Cheers, 340i.

when you price up the bolts, can you please check if they're gold coloured or gold plated. it seems they come in both, depending on where you go. ie. this place does gold plated... http://store.blackforestindustries.com/bbsrsbogosph.html

yeah im really hoping they are the same. i cant see why they would be different but will measure them to check anyway. do you have an idea on prices and shipping costs yet?
-
keen on something like this http://www.titanium-touch.de/shop/product_...ab98f18cfcc8e75

hahaha thats the first bmw 'donk' ive ever seen! what an epic fail.
-
cool. also, might be keen on the tool to remove/fit the little wheel bolts. heres the rims, they're Strosek, made by BBS. I've just bought them and am getting them delivered next weekend, so can measure the 34 bolt pcd at that point if need be.
-
cool. probably 17x4" lips x2. ill need to check this, but thats about the size im after. what date are you looking to order these? also, can you get spiked bolts from the same place too? those are sick.
-
roughly how much would one be looking for 17"x4" outer barrels? what finish do they come in? and who makes them? got a website we can look at, or is it secret squirrel?
-
hey im after some two or three piece wheels to modify into deep dish versions for my car. must be 17" or 18", any widths and offsets considered. it doesnt matter if they're curbed or bent, the lips will be getting replaced with new ones. i may also consider incomplete sets (ie, 3 wheels if you've smashed a wheel and cant afford to buy a new rim) pm me with pics and a reasonable price. cheers, 340i

its a bit of a hassle, but if the bumpers are in good condition, theyre worth a decent money in the states. post something on bimmerforums or bmwe21.net/forum and you'll probably get a bite.
-
ive seen esky ones and im not sure theyd look as good. also i think the body contour is different, whereas 2002 flares on e21s has been done so i know they'll fit. just in case, does anybody know of a bodykit dealer in wellington that stocks these escort flares? i would've thought there would be plenty of 02 owners out there who've bought flares, or does everyone import them? might have to sign up and ask on an 02 forum?...
-
thanks for that, but im more keen to just free up some space in the arches so i can 'sack it out hard on some pimping massive rims, yo', without scrubbing, rather than turn my car into a snowplow. that paint job however, could be a go! lol kinda like this sik car... http://www.bmwe21.net/forum/viewtopic.php?...c&start=165

hey i need some sweet flares for my e21 like the factory flares on the old 2002 turbos and i dont wanna import them from overseas if possible. alternatively id go some universal flares if they look good, but my googleing didnt find much in that department either. cheers, 340i

none of the options are easy or cheap. if you're super keen, save your money and just weld up the centre. i did a skyline diff into my e21 and it was not cheap. now im considering upgrading to an aftermarket centre on top of that, which will cost another $1500 plus, to get decent lsd action.
