  1. I'm after the hinge cover for the front armrest on my '94 E36 325i.

Leather if poss, but black vinyl will suffice.

Wreckers I've tried don't have any and Chch BMW quoted me 200 bucks for a new one ex Germany!!!

I know it's just a silly trim part... but it looks crap with the hinge exposed.... any help would be awesome.

    Cheers.

  2. It might well swallow them , but preferably it would spit these ugly as sh*t wheels out instead.

And I would agree with the 17 inch option because a well set up car on good 17's will be a much better car to drive in a wider range of conditions than some hacked up sacked out piece of crap on incorrectly sized wheels and tyres which this particular example sounds like it it is heading towards

    Here here!! :D

  3. Yeah... when I was investigating that the lowest price I got was $756!

But if you fly up (bout 99 bucks for a flight on the net), drive back (bout 150 bucks worth of gas) and catch the Ferry across the strait ($230 for passenger and car) you scrape in at a grand total of $479.... which is under 500 bucks! :D

Plus, you get to take your new baby for a good drive on the open road!

  4. Welcome. I'm sure you'll have fun in it.

Have you taken a car for a spin at the Canterbury Motor Racing School? I keep meaning too, but never get around to it.

I must check if the Formula Ford is laying around in the garage down there in a few weeks.

Thanks bro! Yeah... I got given a voucher for Xmas last year.... most fun I've had with my pants on! Actually, I didn't have my pants on... just the fireproof overalls haha! I'm keen to go back this year and do the intermediate track.

  5. Hey everyone, I've been trawling round this most informative site for a couple of months now but have only now bought my first BMW.

It's a '94 325i auto, Boston Green metallic with 17" Schnitzer alloys, leather interior, heated seats, CD stacker and dual climate control.

Bought it from a dealer who'd just traded it in three days ago from a guy who upgraded to a 2001 330i! Talk about timing!

I pick the car up on Tuesday... first mods will be a new headunit and german plates! (perhaps a bimmersport sticker too)

Look forward to picking up some useful hints from you guys (and girls)!

    - Mark.

  6. It didn't appear to have a Dark Headliner though????

Nice car all the same. The LSD worked!

Dark headliner? What does that mean? Is it not a genuine M car?

Did you take it for a spin? Dealer didn't talk to me... then again, I showed up in hoodie and jeans, so he prob thought I was a dreamer haha!

  7. Hey all

I've found a 1995 328i motorsport coupe in silver that I want to buy. It's done 55,000k's and just arrived from Japan. Very nice condition, still has unused spare in the boot, full toolkit etc. Took it for a drive on the weekend and it runs like a dream. There are a couple of things that need fixing: Missing pixels on OBC LCD screen, sunroof not working properly, and slight moisture in headlights - but the dealer has promised to fix those as a condition of sale.

    He wants $13,995

I'm gonna offer him $10,000 as a starting point (hehe!)

Is my offer too low? too high? Your thoughts?

  8. Oh man! I've been hunting for a black 325i manual coupe for ages.... (and such low k's too!!!) shame I haven't saved up enough coin yet to buy this beast! I need a way to make some money, FAST. Hmmmm, I heard the sex industry is on the up and up! Haha! ;)
