  3. Hi all, I recently was hit at the trafic lights, the other driver is insured with AMI. They have said to me that its not economical to repair my car and they valued it at $5000. I think thats a bit unfair given that my car CANT be replace at that ammount. so what i need is an independant valuer to come to a more realistic ammount. the car is a NZ new 1989 e30 M325i, i also have 9 years service history. The car is also insured with NZI for a fixed ammount of 10000 (thats 3rd party fire and theft) help needed here, anydody know or is an auto valuer? recent photo of my car :..( fo old times sake...

  5. I have replaced the head unit with a EQ in the car the problem i have is: the Tach, economy meter and clock now does not work (the EQ does). the only cables i used are power, ground and ignition, from the unit that was already there. i know they all are on 1 circuit, what i need to know is if i dont want the Head unit in the circuit, how can i bypass it EDIR: fixed now - Boot Light causing all the sh*t
  6. a number of things suddenly stopped working in my car recently. the tachometer, economy meter, clock, radio, inside lights, boot light. I am sure they are linked as they stopped working at the same time, is there a "single point of failure" that would cause all of this? and how to fix? I have a 1989 E30 M325i
