We have bought a HM35 300RX Stagea. VQ30DD engine, 192kw & 324Nm. gooes great & lots of space. Hi Cain, you were right! I'd love a 5 series estate - one day Yes indeed. Bring cash It's not all bad...plan ahead. You do need one big car to fit all the gear but its a lifestyle call. We aren't sad. BNR34 GT-R will come one day when the boy can climb in & click his own seatbelt!

The truly annoying thing for me is these assholes believe this sort of thing doesn't cost us, 'the insured'.This clearly illustrates that the no good, jobless, f-wits are as dumb as they look by failing to understand our yearly premiums increase both when we make a claimand due to the rising crime rate in general and excess's for stolen and damaged property cost us too. In this case it should be free glass replacment FTW ?!

Yep, an M3 bumper is in the pipeline. There's quite a lot of choice though...I have to research this some more as there's some excellent lips, and different AM bumpers available. Need to take a good look at a Msport one too. Got a beautiful MOMO GT-R gear knob inside too

I have a quote from Bayfair tyres for the fitment of Koni struts (dont know the model details yet) and 30mm lowered springs (dont know which brand at this stage), $1850. Little sundries like the top hats, bushes etc. and a wheel alligment on top of that price and there's 2k+ and a bloody good job by technicians who will stand by their work. Whack a set of shocks & springs in yourself and sure you may have no problems or in 6 months it may be shyte. You wont have the extra parts at hand so those worm old bushes and dodgy old brackets etc. will go right back on, little details get overlooked etc... I'm with 3pedals here - the quote looks fine. You've got yourself a quote for a complete suspension overhaul performed by an experienced operator (hopefully)...suspension is bloody important and IMHO it's well worth paying for quality service.

Great thread. I must get A into G and repair our glovebox *stupid E36 glovebox* Our OBC is still working but no longer responds to pressing the indicator stalk Nice job mate. The front lip sounds interesting.

Bahahaha! everyone hates these lights, lol. I agree to a point - they are kinda similar to the altezza style tails that I also dislike but the OEM type with nice new, clear lenses & angel eye rings are beautiful and we'd have gladly spent the extra for them but the stupid corner lights are only semi clear, look tacked on, & don't integrate if ya know what I mean...oh well...they work well at least, Sharon loves them and that will aid me in getting some quality suspension, & one day I'll upgrade the brakes, flywheel/clutch & no doubt some engine breathing so that's a fair trade off PS: I'm thinking of some eyebrows to hide them a little

Took some pics this avo to show the new headlights, 35% tints & colour coded bump strips. Lowering 30mm or so will happen once we settle on the right combination of dampers & springs, early in the new year some time. I know some don't like these due to them being non OEM looking but Sharon wanted them & I reckon they look ok. There's a new custom muffler down there. Subtle as hell but with a warm note. I think an M3 front bumper would go nicely...

We have a friend with a black CLS55 AMG. That thing hauls right up my GT-R's ass (before my new turbos that was ) How does the new 63 feel having less torque but more power? MB are in a league of their own building uber torque monster sedans like these - well the Forced Induction V8 & V12 cars anyway.

Deff. go the E36 and make it a 6 cylinder, dog. C180 = pos.

Welcome Scott. Nice wheels mate and how you like that engine? I've not long ago bought my first BMW too - a 98 E36 328i 5spd and have had nothing but good times from her...
