Hi everyone,
Ive been recently thinking about lowering my car but i know the springs i have ordered will drop my ride below the 100mm no-certification threshhold, but i was told i could buy suspension spacer things from bmw to install with the springs and raise the ride height a little.
Is this true?? can anyone direct me to a place where i can get such a spacer?? cheers.
(im too poor to have my car certified!)

Ah ok i got ya, im not too keen on drilling holes in my new baby... i might take it in to a car audio specialist. I hope they dont charge too much to run some wire

I tried pushing it through the hole that had the little rubber bung in it behind the carpet about half way down but it didnt seem to go too far; on a side note, how did you get a good 12v power supply to your boot?

Hi everyone,
over the last 2 days ive been struggling to run a 4gauge amp power line through the firewall in my e36 sedan.
Has anyone done this before? any helpful info would be much appreciated, I tried removing the glovebox and pushing the cable through a small hole under the carpet but to no avail...

You have a DOHC motor.
But i thought the DOHC engine was only in the 318is model?
-
yea...318i being 4 cylinder...SOHC unless 318is which is still 4 cylinder DOHC...
Would it be possible to install the DOHC engine in place of the SOHC using the same gearbox, suspension etc??

Hi everyone,
Im 18, from Invercargill and recently bought a 96 4dr manual 318i.
Ive been very enthusiastic about bmw's throughout my life and finally own one myself.
Cheers
