  1. yeah ill flag the brembo thing i think... i dont think its fast enough yet haha, pads are easy to find though some Porsche and Ferrari use them. But the car is running mint hasn't skipped a beat, im lov'n it.. um the fuel problem... turns out there isn't one tat i know of, happy days.

Cool, its quite easy to change the con-rods to shorter ones to lower the compression and putting forged piston heads on. do you think that a super charger could run fine on a rb25det instead of a turbo?? would adjust fuel via air pressure right.. I only spent a few hours on my car this weekend i stripped out everything from the dash back including scraping off the sound deadening that was a few kg, also took the spring out of my handbrake leaver so it wont catch when its pulled, wow it def made a huge difference to performance but still not done yet i want this thing as light as possible, I also wired up a boost gauge and painted my tow eye red for shits. im on the look out now for 2 bucket seats and seat belts and strut braces. Guys i have a pretty nice full leather Grey sports interior for sale for 500 Also a set of 19" advanti stalkers which have just had $450 spent on them to make them dead straight and been preped ready for paint 2 tyres good 215/35/19, 2 sh*t. $450ono

Only the spare tyre only because it wasn't in there so can add 25kg on top for that and has about 25 liters of gas in it so that's probably the 20 or so kg difference in the rear left to right.. and im sitting in it around 83 odd kg I weighed it at jim wright nissan were i work as a parts adviser it is supposed to be dead accurate. i will post one the same once im done stripping it out on monday.

The wheels on the car.. they dont match, but who cares right! lol its going to the weigh bridge on Saturday morning and once im happy with the weight after gutting it out this weekend im going to panel beat the guards nice and smooth, when i smashed them out to fit the wheels, alot of bog fell out and we cant have that, not in my car, bog is heavy haha, then move on and get the 2100lbs pressure plate kit for the m20 flywheel and then redo my mounts for my charger. and hope to pick up some race seats in the process and make a hand brake leaver.. anyway lets me know on feedback and ideas please, has anyone done this here...?? oh and i was thinking the other night is it possible to build a m50b28 turbo engine and wire it up with a rb25det ecu and loom and then i theory you'll have a BMW turbo engine with no need to tune just turn up the boost and go??god my mind wonders sometimes..

Hey guys got an update, Ive had so much fun with this project and have always wanted to give drifting a go, so this weekend just been i got hold of some AC Schnitzer 17 x 9.5" wide rims 8.5 for the front off a 5 series et15 with a quick camber adjustment on the front and rear to get it to sit hella flush stretched some 205 45 17 ft and 215 45 17 rear. then got a diff 3.45 and welded it solid. ive taken it off the road to set up as a drifter, seens as i dont have my dirt bike anymore i can justify having a toy so this will be it. i.ve taken some pics of what i have done and will post here soon..
  10. haha, its been crazy with the timing of birthday party's and general any excuse party's the last couple of weeks this weekends the same.. it sure takes longer to get over a hangover the older you get huh. will suss a vid out at some point soon.
  11. i've put the old 415 injectors back in now and taken out the 440's, and i got a boost guage from work and ran it into my car took it for a small drive, turns out its boosting an unimpressive 3.5psi and drops to 2.5psi at 6500rpm, going to source a smaller pulley for the charger. atm its 115mm diameter, any help sourcing one would be nice, did the sc14 come out with a smaller clutch pulley??? or does the sc12 have a smaller one that fits??
  12. I put the new injectors in at lunch and its blowing black smoke with the charger on at 1000rpm idle which means its over fueling pretty bad, going to swap them back tonight...
  13. cool as i got some m3 ones and a 4bar reg to play with hehe, i took some friends out for a thrash in it tonight and they loved it, then the hose blew off had to put it back on with the screw driver from the bmw tool box and the light from my glovebox i bet bmw never thort it would get used for that haha
  14. tomorrow will put larger injectors in, it cant hurt too right??? and also pointed out i better get it on the gas anlyser make sure its not leaning out..
  15. thanks guys its really nice to hear some positive feedback haha as your probley aware my bov had arrived today and i was itching to get it on so i went to the workshop tonight and installed it on the charger manifold under the intake manifold, gave it a skim and some man made gaskets nice and air tight.. i also put 2 pcv one way valves in for the idle, it wont idle with the charger on but runs like it never had one on with it off... Good news is i taken it for another drive and its pulling twice as hard now and i can change between gears with the charger staying on where before with no bov it use to stop it spinning and make a hell of a noise Bad News is when boost comes on the clutch is slipping.... below are some more pics...

  17. I also had to change my throttle body to a m52 and flip it upside down to gain clearance for my piping because the m50 one can not be turned over due to the springs indent the manifold..
  18. haha yeah the pre 92s have the bat up front... i havnt changed my injectors yet but will once i install my bov that way i can run it all the time if i like, the chargers being run off a longer 6pk belt with the add of a pulley a 6pk2260 to be exact so it runs off the slighty larger crank pulley of the two. once i have the leaks sorted find out what its boosting if not enough ill change the charger pulley. im glad to hear its impressive.. you having seen pics yet haha at this stage its not impressive to look at ill post some pics...
  19. or i could just run a pcv ie one way valve for my icv hose that should do it.. ill suss that out tomorrow too, hmm

I have got a little boost leak from the manifold sealing surface but i got some thick plate ill need to re do that , no biggy, and haha i put the Idle control Valve piping in front of the charger which ill need to move to after the charger so thats causing a boost leak too, so that and BOV go in tomorrow after work, and i need a boost guage... i love freebes

The basics are now done charger is all plumbed in i dont know what its boosting yet but i know it is very noticeable differance i floored it around a round about in second it stepped out with ease where before it struggled, total price to date is 350 with around $57 for silicone hoses and 3 days work. i will post more pics soon.. im loving the button on the pedal, cant use it on the switch as it has no bov at the moment, there are still a few things to iron out and improve. does anyone have any questions??
  23. ok so today i put my battery in the boot to make more room under the hood, worked out quite well i might add.. i also put in a kick down switch, and ran the wiring for the charger, positive on a fuse to fuse box, negative or earth i run to the kick down cable and on to a demister pull switch out of a 2002 because it was green and that means go haha i had to wire it up a lil different to how the switch was designed for but i got the desired effect, light comes on when using the kick down off when not. light also comes on when switched on via the pull knob, i think its in the perfect location too right by the shifter tomorrows mish is finish the pluming and go for a drive...
