i want the wheels to stick out a bit, give it a JDM look. Looked at a 2nd gen 1jz today...not badly priced with 80,xxxks on the clock i may be leaning towards that. i have a r154 gearbox that i was going to use on my old chaser, so could be a good opportunity to use it now. yes i am going to be using 5x120 - 5x114 25mm adapters. will keep u guys posted.

im going to raise it to accommodate the wheels, theres still another inch and a half i can drop. im not building this to be a slab though. although coilovers make it alot easier + the handling is great.

yeh car crushing is just ridiculous, what a waste of time, and our money most likely. they should use their energy into solving our raising crime rate.

and the best super kooki stretch on a sportmax rim
-
some of the d1nz guys are nutters. they drift on 215/45 on 9.5s, work well from what i have seen, in japan there even more crazy, love it.
-
there is a maximum point of what you can stretch regarding tire size, if you run below this you have the risk of the beed popping of the wheel. i ran a 215/35/18 on my 9.5 and it was crazy but i drove it as a daily for months with no hassles. my mate had a 205/50 on his 10inch wide rim and they popped off. i had a guide to what minimum tire size you can have with wide rims ill try find it.

you should just get a cheap bolt on turbo kit off ebay for an m20b25, would be enough useable power for puke etc.
-
yeah i got them off ebay, i think their just touching the body i think a 195 would help or maybe 5mm spacers? if you go down a profile on the next tyre change maybe 195/50 or 45 it wont rub as much
-
does anyone know of an up to date international online IPO (initial public offering) database or site?
-
i prefer the stretched look, with an 8 inch wheel i would use a 195/50 or 45
