That would be great, which day would suit you best?

Cool, look forward to hearing from you

Hi,
I'm looking for a distributor from a M10B18 (E30 318).
I'm doing a cam change in my 2002, the cam I have requires the distributor to rotate anti-clockwise (std 2002's it rotates clockwise).
Ideally I'd also like all the associated wiring so I can change to the E30 ignitions system

It's for my rally car, currently I'm running a 4.45. a 5.13 would bring the overall ratio for 5th down to where 4th is at the moment. As I never use 5th in a stage it's basically wasted so a 5.13 will effectively give me an extra gear.
I've got a close ratio box so 1st 2nd & 3rd are all fairly tall
-
Free to good home provided that you pick them up from Pukekohe
-
I know it's a long shot but I'm looking for a 5.13 ratio to suit a medium case diff (188).
-
have to match the diff flanges is it for a 325i med diff or 320i 318i small case diff?/
Medium case diff
-
They're for my 2002 rally car (it runs an e30 rear sub frame & diff), I'm making less than 150 Hp so 320 ones would probably be Ok, what I don't want to do is put in joints that already have 200000 km on them.
-
I'm after some E30 Cv joints / axles. Does anyone have a local source for new ones?
-
Hey Cam, how about a Tremac / Borg- Warner T5 ?. Lots of donor cars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borg-Warner_T-5_transmission) and lots of close ratio gear sets available.
You can go to about 190 Hp with the Type 9 I used, or 250 Hp with the heavy duty Quaffe kit.
BTW - I finally got a close ratio Quaffe kit into mine, it's awesome.

Are you going to do a gearbox swap on the 2002?. If you grab an automatic from an early E30 318 (with M10) you can unbolt the bell housing from that and it becomes a good start for gearbox swap.

If you're just looking to take your car for blast on the track. Pukekohe car club organizes two evening bent sprints at Pukekohe Park raceway. 1st Wednesday in Feburary & 1st Wednesday in March starting at around 6pm.
Typically we run two courses,
The first starts in pit lane going the wrong way, you race down past the hairpin loop around the chase and finish on the front straight,
the other starts at the exit of pit lane, goes around castrol, then you do a loop around a cone part way down the back straight and return to finish gong the wrong way on the front straight.
You normally get 4 runs at each course.
Min requirements are a helmet, 100% cotton overalls and a securely fastened fire extinguisher (see motorsport NZ website for details)
More details will be up on the Pukekohe CarClub website in a couple of weeks

I really like to go for Sunday drive up Murray Rd just out of Tuakau. I did it yesterday

E92 M3 Rally car at Quine Road Hillclimb last weekend. Best part of the day - I managed to beat him by 0.01 seconds in my 2002!
(to be fair it was his first time out in the car)

Wouldn't cutting a hole in the floor and making like the Flintstones be an upgrade on the M10?
M10's can still make for a fun day https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psKGcJz6en4

A set of new mintex pads for an E39 528, I'd forgotten I'd brought them and found them in a clean up ( the E39 was sold a couple of years ago).
$30 plus shipping

I guess you'd be Ok if the car was on a trailer out on the road. Assuming of course that the trailer had a WOF and rego

Alright just PM me when you know.
Price dropped on trademe auction, still $130 for BS members, I need these gone within 2 weeks! MUCH cheaper then the $200 and $400(wtf) ones on trademe in Auckland and mine have far better tread on them.
I'll get pics of each wheel/tire in the weekend when I get the chance.
I'll take them off your hands, please Pm me if you still have them

Does anyone know of a fibreglass company with a 2002 bonnet mold?.
-
I know this is a long shot, but I'm after the side covers for a 2002 or Early E21 limited slip diff.
It turns out that they're different to the ones fitted to an open diff (they protrude further in).
The BMW part number is 33 11 1 200 682.
