Looking to repaint most of the black stuff on my e30. Window trim, bumpers, mirrors, spoiler. Do I need to sand it back to bare and primer it or can I just give it an 800 wet sand and shoot the paint over that. Doing it with a can, with some of that black bumper and trim paint one gets from repco. thanks

$100, or swap for good e30 power steering rack. From a pre facelift e30. Mostly dissasembled. Was running when removed. Will need new bearings. No cracks or damage that I can see. Block, head, throttle, intake manifold, exhuast manifold, sump, various hoses, fan, flywheel etc. Could potentially part. Pick up Wellington. Fits in the boot of an e30. Cheers Max 027 354 5576

yip! If indeed it did have a 3.6 straight 6, what engine would it be? A bored out m30 would be a bit old-tech for the e36, and it cant be the m60...

I was down at repco today and I finally saw the owner of this e36 I had seen around sporting bonnet vents, an intercooler, gauges, ACS badges, carbon fibre everywhere, 4 exhausts etc. I had dismissed it as a ricermobile but when I talked to the feller he said its a special ACS model, supercharged 336i (3.6 straight six), very rare and all that. Is there really such a thing? Not that I buy it for a minute.
