  1. Bit of both. But ultimately performance is king. Ultimate driving machine and all that. I'd rather be all go and no show, than all show and no go.

I got a gamecube - ive always been with nintendo - the underdog. They have heaps of nice first party games, and the controllers are very nice. Little load times too. Doesnt cost an arm and a leg. Nintendo is more like bmw, the others are the mainstream ones
  3. Hey thats cool... Be pretty fast.. But you'd still try and pass it :pimp:
  4. Put some flames coming out the back for 'realism'

We gotta have more footage than that tho right? Anyone?
  6. Dont be cheap. Youll regret having your springs cut when your face ends up on a tree. Just spend the money on something proper. Do some work, save some money, do it once do it right.
  7. Thought they were brand new in boxes? Brand new, tyres fitted, put on car?

Yeah, i was thinking bimmersport didnt need another 'i ignored the warnings and didnt get one like i should have' thread. Now to hope it remains useless.

Thanks for the comments guys, gonna take some pics by the beach soon. Yeah, bmw's are a bit of an obsession.

Now i wait for the inevitable rain. Damn.
  14. Going to be a LOT more expensive than you're gonna get power out of. Consider a 325 E46, or going down the E36's with higher specs. Seriously, drive a decent 6 cylinder bmw with sports pckg, and see what youre missing.
  15. It is a rather current issue - the speeds are an issue of bad roads, and the cost of getting them to support these 'new speeds'. And lets not forget how some people are still struggling with city driving here. If you cant go 60, 160 aint gonna happen.
  16. It would be rather unprofessional..
  17. Yeah it was. It understeered like hell in corners, it was a shocker. Track day will tell all.
  18. The shocks have to have the opportunity to travel for any dampening to occur. I hope you saw tv3 the other night. Some terribly low car on coilovers, with the setup so hard that it didnt budge. They 'tested' the car and it was obviously a terrible handler. Make it low enough to look good, but also low enough to handle well. Its the ultimate driving machine. If you want the ultimate bling machine, get an escalade.
  19. Dont make it super low. It will handle like a dog, you will destroy your shock mounts, and driving will be agony. Spelling is your friend.
  20. You're so gonna get snapped by andrew.. Bimmersport needs some kind of discount/cut or something.

    hey guys

Hey, im dennis I got a 325i. If you have the option, get a 325 or 328 e36 for some decent power. Oh yeah, and everyone, its BIMMER and ONLY bimmer. Not beamer. Welcome, take your time, have a read.. also try bimmerdiy.com for other useful info. Bimmerforums.com is also good. There are a few common things on E36's you gotta look out for, just make sure you dont overextend yourself financially...! Petrol is slowly starting to hurt. haha
  22. Call eurospares in manukau and see how much they got those kinds of seats for (if at all)...
  23. eurospares in manuakau. They got everything.
  24. Sparco does one for 119US for the e36 - maybe they did one for e30 too? I know that for E36's a strut brace is a waste of time. If anything, Xbrace would be good, cheaper too.
