  1. put two on the front (new0 and two on the back (old) - you'll have to get one flipped on the rim as my bet is they're directionals, but saves you two tyres.

Im guessing he has staggered tyres.. hence the no go?

Anyway, im sorry that happened... Its always safer to go the streets you know, and to keep a close eye on the actual road surface to try and spot holes like that (being night meant it sucked more to see..)

    Good luck!

  2. Yeah they're all scum.

But leaving a radar detector in a car on the street is like leaving a pile of $20 bills on the dash... begging for it.

And leaving other valuables in the car...

Alarm with glass break sensor woulda helped too.

Were they tinted windows? Because that makes it a little harder to break in.

  3. If youre gonna buy that, be sure to check the obvious stuff that may need replacing at that time, and if its been done

    Radiator neck/waterpump death

    Shocks

Picture of the car would help too - mtechnic kitted car is a lot nicer than stock plastic sideskirts/bumper.

Go check trademe and autopoint.co.nz to get perspectives.

Oh yeah - andrew imports cars... so if youre looking, he will get one for you..

Edit: oh so youre SELLING one? In which case play up the fact that certain mechanical stuff that would need replacing has been done. Or if it hasnt, pretend like you've never heard of it.

  4. Theres gotta be a master key or siomething tho...

You can always ruin their clamp and get the same one at Repco for like 80 bucks?

And buy another to clamp onto the back passenger wheel of the clampee's so they cant see it when they start to drive off..mwahaha
