Have had the 323i on the dyno, Bolt on hub job, and produced 97KW at wheels. Motor basicly unchanged from stock, headers on, 320i gearbox, ratios closer together than 323i box, also slightly smaller, Very tall diff at 4.27 to 1 , also LSD. Very surprised that the figures are so good, as only about 105 KW at fly wheel.

KYB gas shocks King springs at about 20mm lowered, too low is a problem for targa as the roads are not too well sealed. ride is firm and gives a very flat turn in. coupled with brembo brakes makes for much fun. :drugs:

suspension is the way to improve the times. 323i holds the road better and the only at the moment that i can stay in front of the 325i. great day and good to see some support from the "bimmersport". pics to follow1 :bounce: :bounce:

Just finnished setting up the race car, 323i e30. Rolled it targa last year. Went to possum bourne Motorsport to get a set up to make the best package for club sport use. we used Brembo rotors and metal king pads. no squeal. ran this car in sprint series at manfield last year then targa. pads now half worn and rotors still like new. cost not much more than stocks and are incredible. Also use valvoline race brake fluid, higher temp and better feel when HOT. expensive at 30.00 for 500ml but worth the money. New to this site but enjoying. :bowdown:
