Hhe one on the north shore is called solace my folks started it up a few years ago and sold it. i would not recommend going there as ive spoken to people who have gone there since (it was sold) and they were not satisifed with the results they got

The silver one is my battery powered (bmw body) one and the gas powered one im sorry to say has a honda body. oh my car

oh heres the whole thing

as youll see the plastic gears are being sheared off by the metal ones dont know why.....

i have an eletric one (m3 body) which is all done up speed controller etc and a petrol one gave it a run yesterday but it keep shearing the 2 speed gears in it anyone got any ideas on how to fix it??? i know this aint a rc site but id appreciate some help.

hey mate im not an expert but do any lights come on before it shuts off it sounds as though your subs may be drawing to much power, the ground wire may not be great, or the + and - speaker connection on the amp maybe touching some how good luck hope this helps same thing happened to me and i played around with these and it came right. oh and are you using the same head deck?? mabye your battery aint perfect.

If you do buy it get it with a service plan coz they are bloody expensive to maintain wicked car though my old man has one. great fun overtaking 300kw holdens in. By the way m5s are 6 speed :mosh:

ok ill ring around and see what other people can quote. im also thinking bout selling it as im going to Auz at the end of next year and spending that much to have it mint and only have it for round 10 months is a waste.

its done just under 260000kms so im guessing that it is close to a rebuild. also the guys at bmworkshop looked at other possible problems first i trust their judgement.

Hey guys just spoke to the mechanic and my engine needs a full overhaul (round $5000) the rings are gone so its bottom end. :banghead: i am thinking of just getting a second hand engine to chuck in for now what do you guys reckon. keep in mind i am going to be moving to Austrailia at the beginning of 2006 (just over a year away) But the rest of the car is mint had interoir recovered in the original bmw uphostry Had car resprayed. and numerous other mechanical problems fixed. all in all ive spent alot of money on it.
