  1. As anyone fitted front PDC to 2002 E46 330 which already has rear PDC fitted? Is there a kit from BMW or are there OEM kits that can be purchased? Can they be wired into the existing switch & controller? Any assisted would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I know the Dice products well, using them in both my cars,? pm me if you further info
  3. The Dice unit Yongxi mentioned are good and I haven't had any trouble with the steering wheel controls on my X3 or 330, contrary to the other post. pm me if you want more info.
  4. There are also direct connect FM RDS devices which link into the aerial system, when the iPod is playing it automatically disconnects the outside aerial(s) and injects the audio in to the head deck. if it is RDS enable, the track ID will be display. PM me if you want further details.
  5. The Parrot install should be fairly straight forward with the ISO to FAKRA convert cable you have. I've used a couple of different Parrot kits in my E39, E46 & E83 vehicles, they have all worked well. Why not get the Aux wiring loom for your head deck instead of an adaptor box for the CD input? I'm fairly sure the E85 have the similar ICE setup to the E83 which has an Aux In capability.
  6. Worked well for me using VLC on a Win 7 box
  7. If you're having trouble with your DICE unit PM me
  8. Scott, did you end up purchasing an iPod integration kit? If not, I have the DICE units available. www.gadgets4u.co.nz
  9. I had mine turn up as well. I agree with the previous post, definitely an in-depth tool with the potential to do damage.
  10. Whats the experience of using these third party devices to code features? I've heard of the Carsoft 6.5 clones killing the Instrument clusters when programming adaptive locking etc.
  11. I too recommend Renming and the Dynavin systems. The E83 X3 version has slightly less functions but looks like the part and Renming's support is great. Just got to convince the wife she NEEDS one in her E46!
  12. If you don't mind loosing your CD changer I have the DICE range of iPod integration kits available in NZ. They also have an Aux In for other MP3 players. Its "line" quality not FM so a far better sound. If you're interested [email protected] - wwwgadgets4u.co.nz
