Changed the hub covers back to stock standard from the black carbon look covers. The old ones were the incorrect type and were obviously cheap ebay ones and the driver side has actually fallen off while driving. From this: To this

Rebuilt the driver side caliper today with new seals today with a mate. Turned out well and it was good to clean out and restore the caliper and top up with new brake fluid. Will do passenger side later once I get more time.

Hey Tom, I got the whole set for 80 bucks NZD. Shipping is another 100 and they're on their way as we speak

Picked up some CSL suspension and CSL Sway Bar set for the M3 from Germany. Need to refresh the rear shocks for the CSL suspension but the fronts look good enough as it is, having only done 30000kms. This maintenance project has grown to include the front end suspension components as well and is hurting the wallet exponentially!

You can get it from Umnitza(?) from the States

After 7 years since the last M3, I guess you can say I can be a bit OTT with the car haha!

So I've had my fair share of weird cars after my last E36 M3 and a brief stint with an E46 M3. So after feeling the need for another M3, I initially looked at the Church St European M3 (Tom's old M3) but missed out by a day to another member here. Feeling slightly gutted I called the owner of a M3 CS in Christchurch only for them to waste my time in waiting for their car to be wof'able and two weeks later I got told they will be taking it to Aus with them. After all that effort I was about to give up but I sent a PM to DSC0FF for his car. Sort of went like this: https://youtu.be/-KgFZhGT26w Anyway long story short I have finally picked it up today and I am loving driving again (funny because the BRZ was a really nice drivers car too). Just gave the car a nice interior groom with products the OCD boys use bt he weather is quite bad right now so will do a full polish job next weekend! Looking forward to being active in the forum again!

So I've been resigned to losing M3 Power's old E46 M3 so decided to look abroad. Would it make any sense to bring in a E46 M3 Silverstone edition from the UK and would that be as rare as the lovely CS and CSL in this country hoping that it will hold its prices better here than it would else where? Looks like its only a cosmetic change rather than any upgrades mechanically so I am well aware of that but the 50 only in the world does appeal to me greatly What would you guys recommend? Wait out for a nice M3 or bring a limited edition from the UK (pending all checks are good)

No I was dealing with Court. In all fairness I think Craig knew I was interested to a certain degree but Court was sick on that day so couldnt support me in that sense. Oh well BRZ for a little longer until I find another one! Mind you wrong crowd but I was able to catch up in the twisties with other high end Euros and R35's in the BRZ on track so I'm just missing that solid M car feel and Power!

Good luck with it I've had two before so I know they're nice! This case was more of a stuff and communication error on the dealers end so I have no qualms over this situation

I see oh well have fun with it
