yep u get what u pay for. from experiences beamers from turners have problems which you only notice after u buy them. Nearly all of the second hand ones have electrical problems.... and the inspections dont pick up things like that. There no point buying a cheap car if your going to pay more in the long run then anticipated.

opening lights up and installing halos took about 2 hours. Also it was the first time ive ever opened up any type of light. If the shape of the halos will fit into e34 lights then it should be sweet...theres many ways of mounting it inside the light. I dont think you can customize the ccfl tube itself though. theres also alot of guides on installing angel eyes on the net - so should try google it if u get stuck.

any auto electrician should do it, i think its around $200. Its simple enough though, done mine myself, taking light apart was hard part.

stylish_division replied to 3series's topic in General Discussion
its one of those international scams. trade and exchange is full of them. pretty stupid to send 18k to another country without seeing car neway lol :S -
need passenger side. pref genuwine bmw. it would be better if lens is separating from housing. dont really want one which is glued together well, but just offer me what u have. even if someone out there has just the clear lens, i will be keen. cheers.

dont think it was stolen... when i sold it window wasnt working. door card was loose but definatly on properly. i rekon someone tried to fix the window and broke pins on door card as they are easy to break. the guy who bought it said he was gonna get the window fixed next day when he bought it. also window was detached from mechanism so wont be too suprised if someone yanked it out.

was going through turners site and found my old car which i sold end of last year or whats left of it. i dont know where i should be posting this but may as well post pictures of when i had it and now. so sad to see the car in this sate after all the effort. seems to have no wof or rego now, may have been repod or stolen. auction estimate was no where near what i sold it for. first few pics are when i owned it (with chrome wheels)

thanks, forgot about manual. Also do the msports have a different gearbox? i have been told this. is this why my dipstick is different from my 316i non m sport?
-
shows how much i know lol

Ive finally found a transmission fluid 'dipstick' in my 98 e36 318i... does this car have a different transmission to the 316i...as the dipstick was more obvious in that one. Anyways its running real low, so i was wondering if there is a special transmission oil for it? or will any auto transmission fluid do? while im at it, any recommendations for topping up engine oil also. cheers

pioneer headunit - tunes in odds
stylish_division replied to stylish_division's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
done tune up button? Head unit was in the car when i bought it. not sure if its from nz. but car seems to have aftermarket amp/ components all around. unless the 98 came with it?? -
Really lost with my pioneer headunit....it only tunes in odd numbers, and alot of radio stations are even numbers. Does anyone have the same problem or knows how to tune this. have a picture of the head unit.

2 x 12s is a good option. try fitting 15s in a e36 lol im sure uve got the same problem as me. took me ages to figure out where rattle was. it was my trunk lock release button, open up the numberplate light unit and ull see a bare trunk lock release button, jam something around it. It was numberplate surround too.

damn! could always say you rolled it lol -
im after the vht stuff... only reason.. ive already done one of my indicators....then can ran out. i could properly finish the job with black paint but im a bit of a perfectionist lol. Also stick to what i know. i have some ordered as well but got told it will take at least 2weeks...ands thats still a if. was just wondering if theres anyother random store that stocks this stuff as i don't like driving with different coloured indicators lol. the product is not illegal but repco told me they stopped stocking it because people were 'using it illegally'. Also does anyone know if apco still exists? the one in botany has closed i think.
