Decided to change the look of the tail lights, originally were the standard E36 tails but i first tinted it fully and decide now there must need a change for the new year!

I geuss its a love/hate thing

After the auckland photoshoot I've decided I now want to take off my spoiler and go for the clean look but the thing is when i take out the little plugs there are 2 screws in there and I've tried reaching them with a wrench/screendriver-wrench thing but it just wouldn't lock onto the nut probably making it not able to unloose..

Was wondering how some of you guys manage to uncrew it?

(the spoiler came factory with the car so bmw put it on)

Always see a nice silver E36 coupe around in uni parked around OGGB building. Think it was a 323is, plate H1 R0LA. Or something along those lines.

you can take the spoiler off yourself and plug the holes with grommets if you want a cheap fix. Also a gud idea is to remove the spoiler yourself and take the boot lid into a auto panel shop without the car, will save you a bit of cash. unless you can weld i doubt you should diy.

Ah Yes, that sounds like a plan. I should do this when I gather enough money for the beaters so I get everything done at once instead of a half arse job. Any ideas on how much it is going to cost? (approx.) to take to the beaters i mean.

Would you have to drill holes in the centre console for it to fit?

I was looking on Ebay on full consoles and realized that the handbreak hole is on the wrong side!

get an m3 front bumper + de-spoiler and worry about painting your rims later.

Haha, funny you say that, I was thinking to get that exact, been looking around if I should DIY the spoiler or give it to beaters. Got any good suggestions to go to thats affordable and good work?

They are actually pretty polished up but you cant really see in that pic because of the shade but hmmm... I do like it stock. Might bring it to labour day cruise!

haha cheers for the input, I quite like them stock at the moment too and I don't know if I could actually watch it get painted but I quite like the gold. This would take some time for me to make up my mind haha.

hey guys,

I just saw the topic about removing the air baffle from my normal intake and i saw some pictures of other peoples E36 and their snorkel and the hole is like TINY, about 3-4cm diameter? but when i opened my intake today i looked at the snorkel and the hole was like 6-7cm wide, i was like WHAT.. i was just wondering if this is stock or the owner before me changed the whole intake system? cause on the car it says "K&N filter system" but not sure if thats just the air filter or the whole system.. ill take a picture and upload it when i get the time!
