Muzzie, hi my names Andrew, I txted you the other day about borrowing the trailor. I really think - even though this is a cheap score no doubt that you should maybe put your money towards your other projects while you still have time left. BMW's just end up costing more money over time and a 318i auto even if it were only $2000 would still take a few months to sell, all of which costs will esculate. Theres not such a demand for 318 autos these days, most people expect the whole ... i can get a 320 for that price so yours is way over priced sorta thing.. $2000 would be about realistic but yeah even still that may take a while to sell at this time of hte year when people arent buying. Hey, I live in Papakura and dont mind coming to have a look at hte car if you want to know more about it. Have a fair idea where to look for all the common rust spots, faults to unearth etc etc. Cheers Andy

I'm not sure if it was this one or one similar but I believe soemoen had a look at it, needed a respray on the front as it has tonnes of tiny stone chips. Search in the forsale section for M325's

Singapore imports tend to have problems with the electrics in there life time, probably better off getting a japanese car.

M5 style is cool but you have to have hte kit to go with it, my suggestion would be to try get something that was original if your not going to do the whole M5' replica look. Something that gives your car its own style rather than doing half of the motorsport look. Maybe something like this R643 [97] or the BBS equivilent

oh just so you guys are aware, they look nothing like the dial in the bottom photo of that auction, used as a marketing ploy, the 1st photo is correct though.

Can I get a list of things I should look at replacing/upgrading while doing an engine conversion just so I can start drawing up some prices. The car is 2 lights of requireing a service so may as well get that stuff done while the engines being worked on. If I could get them for $33.00 to NZ would you guys buy them ? I will probably need a further $2.00 - $5.00 to post it out to you. The $33.00 also covers a $5 'Boom' tax/donation, just help me out a bit as it looks I'm going to be working 2 jobs and a 3rd if I get it, as I'm trying to keep my head above water and be able to pay for my uni fees as well as this new engine, without giving in and getting a student loan. I'm waiting for the whole 'cry me a river' story from sic* but really, im not after sympathy, anyone that was moderately interested to see how these go heres your chance, your getting it $65 cheaper than trademe and at the same time helping a poor starving african* child like me. *please not, child may not be african

me thinks Brent will be using the pieces (5 speed+others) from his 316 / 320 to build up a 325i racecar.
