  1. Hey guys, After a few parts for a 97 e39 sedan. After the aircon pressure switch and ambient temp sensor. Also, if anyone has a front bumper in alpinweiss III (silver)
  2. Anyone? Will take two rims (whatever they are) as long as they're 18" and have some dish to them.
  3. Could be keen for an e34 kit if you have some of them coming. Would need to know final price first tho
  4. Hi guys, needing two 18" (prefer 8" or 9" wide) Type III Schnitzer rims, ideally to suit e34. If you've got a damaged set, I need 2 to fix my damaged set. Other option would be 2 matching 18" rims without damaged outer lips. If anyone is able to assist, please PM or contact on 021 613 745 Same as this image
  5. Hey all, just wondering if there are any tips and tricks to replacing the main serpentine p/s, alt, waterpump belt on an M50B25 e34 525i? Am also going to do the a/c belt since I'm in there anyway and have to take it off first. I've had a look and it doesn't look that tough, but I've been caught out before with the e34 when there seems to be a "special order" of doing things to make the job take a quarter of the time.
  6. OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer. Usually OEM is only available from the dealer, in this case would be BMW. Some manufacturers are OEM suppliers for other makes of vehicles, so they are OEM, just maybe not for your make. From personal experience, the TRW's are a good disc, but I'd never go away from OEM unless you can't get them. We've tried many different brands of disc of our rally cars and the ones that last the best are genuine. The longevity versus price difference is worth OEM
  7. oops, my bad. Unsure on BMW's as am new to them. Indicators do use a relay, a flasher relay.
  8. You are correct, because whatever someone is willing to offer will probably get them for that price.
  9. Sounds like a bad earth or earth loop to me. Check the relays for the indicators and headlights.
  10. GOING CHEAP !!! Help me clean the garage out !!!
  11. I knew I should have joined this forum earlier. I had the same issue with my e34. Low beam would turn of randomly, turn off the main switch, turn it back on and they'd work. Started to annoy me a little too much and I found that if you tapped the main fuse box the right way, they'd stay on fine. Eventually I tracked it down to the LKM, opened it up and found that one relay had the worst solder job ever. Resoldered it and now works fine. If you are going to do this, make sure you have a temp controlled soldering iron. A standard one WILL cook the circuit board and then you'll have to purchase a new LKM (I imagine it would be BIG money).
  12. Cheers Mike, They're mine, in the car and working sweet!!! For anyone that needs to know, e34 "manual" seat cars have the electric seat plug under the carpet.
  13. Hey guys, have taken the standard grey cloth seats from my e34 and replaced them with others. They have the black/grey diagonal insert. Passenger seat is good condition, drivers seat has torn lower cushion. Rear seat has a smallish black (possibly paint) mark on the passenger side and the upper half of the rear is torn on the top edge. Not after a huge pile of cash, just want them gone. Pickup only, from north shore (weekends only).
  14. The what? Thread digs? please explain. I've been on a heap of forums and never heard that one.
  15. Hey there everyone, after owning many cars over the years (including a couple I can't bear to part with), I bought a 5 series E34 as a comfortable reliable vehicle. With NO intention of modifying it, I found it already has had AC Schnitzer play with it!!! Since then, I find myself spending money on it for no apparent reason... Guess I'm a sucker for modifying cars. Nice to find a local forum supporting Beemers, and hopefully there will be tricks/tips on here to help me out and that I am able to reciprocate.
  16. Do you still have the brace? Any idea what it actually fits?
  17. Hey guys, new on here and I'm looking for any 5 series E34 Schnitzer parts. The car already has a HEAP of AC parts, but looking for anything more that can be found. Let me know what ya got.
