  1. Cheers!

One of the next things on the list is sort out my "track" centre pipe. Thinking of 2 straight throughs similiar to yours Josh, maybe a X or H pipe. your e30 has a H pipe on it if I remember correctly? Will have to have a geez soon

nah, when the track pipe is in it replaces the center muffler with a straight pipe.

    like this:

    \\\---------------|---|--------------\ /-----

    ///---------------|---|--------------/ \------

    ^......................^....................^

headers............track/center......2inch into 3.5inch then into muffler back to 2

    ........................muffler switchout

    ascii diagrams ftw

older photo here however missing the center removeble center muffler/track straight pipe (was added after this photo was taken.

  2. cheers hybrid that was what i was looking for, now i have something to go by. Bang on height too imo.. any idea how much of a drop from factory?

Not sure, you kind of just tweak to taste till it looks good, while not causing issues with suspension travel. You dont wanna go much lower than this (if any), it becomes hard to drive around without it being a pain in the ass.

Its fairly important if your going 'coil overs' to get qaulity items that can deal running lower without binding up or being overly hard in 20% of the first compression.

  4. O and this happened =/

You need to run bigger wheels to get the look you're after and not have these sorts of problems. Also look at firming you shocks up to help stop this when turning if your gonna run that low.

Car looks pretty sweet though! .. nice work

  5. Cmon, you run slicks and he is on road tyres, not really fair, you could have slipped up the inside easy! 500+ BHP looks good though!

You have some nice straight line pace and your car sounds fantastic, good to see you are out using the car as much as possible, so many awesome projects sit in a shed.

Hehe .. yeah I would have if he didnt start sliding/sledging a lot of the corners. I really didnt want him oversteering and tank slapping it into me. The only way I decided to pass was under brakes. We both talked about it in the pits again and he said thanks for not overtaking him on the corners as he said he nearly lost it a few times.

  6. Totally! .. a stark contrast in cars, power to light weight vs muscle. 180hp and around 200nm more torque. the e30 catches up under brakes and if wasn't so worried about him sliding out and me hitting him I would of tried to overtake a few more times haha, he would of got back on the straights.

  7. I had a go with a windows 7 LG phone ... very nice to use however a little bit too simple for my liking .. Im still a sucker for graphics.

Samsung have announced the Galaxy S2 which is the first of the next gen phones .. to rivel iphone5.

The thing I like about the galaxy over iphone (im not a fan boy of any of them btw) is that it has a microSD slot .. so I can save a little bit of coin and just get the 16GB model and if I use it up I can spend some coin and get more 'disk space' by buying a card.

Iphone has some pretty cool apps however lots of developers are switching to andriod as its a open standard.
