Are they no longer available ex BMW? I know it is expensive but this is a part you don't want to mess around with. They often have corrosion at the seams. 

Seeking your opinion on the pictured broken chainstay. Frame is made of 4130 steel. Sheered off right where forkend enters the tube.

Saw a maroon e30 out East this arvo. Haven't seen before. Plate was FOTZE I think...

Not a BMW but a bloody amazing machine. Wish I could hop on and experience the way it moves.

Hence why I always check insurance on expensive items I buy that are likely to go sea freight. Many policies only cover the cost of the shipping, not the value of the goods themselves.

Don't forget salvage - often the most expensive part of the piece. All freight parties are held to account for this. So, if you want your freight back without going broke - insure.

It certainly is a unique car. If the story checks out and can somehow be traced back for future reference it is a big plus. Wonder if the chassis is a stock e34.
