RHD = been tampered with, not original which means less value, if your gonna get a E30 M3 it's gotta be LHD! The are no different to drive and actually easier to park!... But not so good for drive thru LOL

Hi guys, is it possible to replace the lower side part of the seat base on the E39? The car I am looking to buy has a broken base by the seat controls. Would be good to know potential cost.
Cheers
shouldn't be more than $100

Is this for your daily Greg? I'd say more luck at the wreckers than here!!

Mechanics are for work on your engine, if you had steering issues I would have taken it to a tyre shop like firestone they would have checked alignment and noticed and identified the problem immediately heck if you asked them nicely they would even change you diif oil!! sounds like you should have done the service yourself as you seem to know how to drain and fill engine oil I know its easy but some "qualified" people still screw it up.
Who was the company?
Name and Shame they deserve it!!!
I would not pay more than $500 for a full days work on my car especially if it was just changing fluids and working on the steering rack....

lololo ah yes the memories guess i shouldn't stomp on people to hard........but hell its fun lololol
Just thought I would have a dig, and got the responses I expected! If anything the comment should motivate you !! Anyway Have fun with the build its good to see something a bit different from the million and 1 turbo M20/50 builds
Dont forget to post the dyno sheets when complete
I'm sure you can easily make 350 Hp

looks like titanium silver, not gunmetal grey...
-
I doubt you will get 350hp just by adding a hair drier

You think thats high try Half a million K's

If you shipped it here yourself at a 1£=2$ then 60,000NZD plus 7,000NZD shipping = a saving of 13,000NZD not bad!

Most efficient engine if you want to turn petrol into sound... Personally I cant stand the sound thats why I'm not a fan of F1, each to there own I guess
-
What is it your not sure about? I hope your not feeling insecure...

Anyone know this was around? Wonder if the owner has a full aero kit to go with it
"there is No Rust in the the car"
....you call that a car?

Exactly after the RUC and extra rego, there is virtually no savings on running costs, I know diesels are more reliable and will usually outlive the petrol equivalents if serviced and maintained, but at the end of the day they are still "oil burners" as you like to put it.... BTW I do like that Red 320d, looking good!Have you factored in the road user charge's about 4.5 cents a k I believe and the extra rego now required, 406hdi pug $481.00 odd to your overall running costs.

Ok after looking at your first post there is no way you can settle for a 123d I dont care how fast it can go with a chip and exhaust mod, you will regret it !! If you really want something that "hauls ass" and is a mans car (not a hatchback) Go the E60 M5 technically they are all imported NZ new hardly makes a difference get a good one that was imported from UK and you cant go wrong...

This looks like it is be quite a good car, one I think brings BMW up to date. I do fair it will again be too expensive in our market though, as tested that's a 28,000.00 GBP or $56,500 NZD car but will cost 80 - 90k when its here.
As much as I love BMW's they really are no longer the premium car the NZ dealers price them at, it should be a sub 70k car in NZ to compete with the likes of the Ford Mondeo, VW Passat etc.

2.0 Turbo and 8-Speed DSG or 6-Speed manual sounds like a nice package, add an LSD and life is good.
If you are really serious about buying one then why dont you buy it brand new in the UK and ship it to NZ yourself shipping and duty wouldn't be more than 20K so you would be able to land it here for 70 odd Grand...
