I just finished tilting the engine and trans afew degrees so the down pipe has plenty of room. I now have about 5 inches of clearance. Crunchy had said something about tilting the motor afew degrees to make it easier. It was easy as! just measuring and making afew little bits. No real major mods needed and shifting position is like stock. I will get time to properly work on the car around may I have been caught up with work. Have a few other things I have been doing. I have made the vanos intake cam work on the exhaust side for better lift and it retains vanos operation but that wont be used for this motor but instead on a alloy m52 block I built running low comp and all stock parts. Should run a safe 450-500 at rear wheels. Will post some pictures of that stuff when I get a chance. Hope everybody is well and thanks for having a scroll Cheers all

I assume you're thinking of M3 DSII's? Now, they come in 17x7.5 - Fronts, and 17x8.5 - Rears/ or staggered if you like. As far as i know, these early type M3 wheels came as a square setup all around, but if i'm incorrect, i'm all ears, cheers mate

Yes I have measured them incorectly, I always thought they were 8.5, sorry about that guys and thank you very much for pointing this out. Yes I believe my brother got them from Ben a while ago for his e36 and didnt end up fitting them so he gave them to me

Cheers everyone for the nice replies she is so happy I got to take the car for a drive again, man do I miss that feeling of a e36 they handle so nice and sound amazing now I cant wait to get mine back on the road but it come down to time and $$$. Next thing to do would be getting rid of that jatco auto trans and do a manual conversion. She can pay for that though haha.

So today we got the car finished up, she came home and saw her car sitting on the driveway and man was she happy, gave her a big hug, she cant stop smiling now haha and she is very thankful. I wasnt able to take a video cause my phone was flat lol but it was awesome. Here are some pictures of the car

Hey everyone spent time after work during the week and today fixing what needed to be fixed. Did control arms and bushings, installed the springs along with shocks, put front lip on, all break rotors done. Fitted new tyres, 225/40/18 on fronts & 235/40/18 on rear. Welded up this powerpro muffler and shhhyt it sounds really nice i took it for a spin haha. All that is left to do is fix her seat belt, wheel alignment and then Gods will it should pass We removed the wheels and have left the car looking standard and up on a jack. Okay so tomorrow morning we are going to fit the wheels and give her car a polish up, when she wakes up we will suprise her ! Cheers guys
