Best to wait it out, the OEM look is alot better to the trained eye, aftermarket versions are close in comparison to authentic style lens, but they are what they are.

That's a very tidy example, would be quite different driving LHD E36 M3, hopefully they import more, some from mainland europe and uk territory where it seems like the best examples are hiding there . Must not be all that uneconomical to get these into the country?

Quite interesting info you have there, do you know if we have any Avus Blue E36 Evo in the country? Or how many M3's were brought in with that colour? Cheers -

If you are wondering where to get your oil feed from here are some good locations, you may need to tap threads but if you find the right fitting there will be no need. I found on "some" not all m50/52 oil filter housings, bmw have placed two allen key bolts you can undo and use for your turbo oil feed. I have used one for temp and one for feed. Or you can simply tap the banjo bolt for vanos oil feed. Or make/buy a distrubution block that screws into the oil pressure switch loction.

Hey crunchy what cams are you running on your motor?
-
Cheers bro and hard the man crunchy pretty much answered your question. If you dont take to much slant out of it the less things you need to modify. Stand the motor up anymore than i have here you will need to modify gear shifter linkages, sump, and possibly the bonnet

Cheers bro !

Just added afew more degrees upright now I have 9 inches of clearance! here is a picture with a 4" pipe running through just to give you an idea of how simple it is going to be getting that down pipe through
