to be totally honest, i dont really like any of them, but out of those go for 5 spoke rims they always look rad on the e30s. get some ac schnitzer style rims

nice, does that front bottom spoiler/guard come standard painted the same colour as the body? i always thought they were black, maybe i'll paint mine, or get a kit instead, haha.

nah i used flat black enamel, the hobby stuff for models... in a little, i just used a paintbrush. the paint is tamiya XF1. i added thinners aswell so as i'd get a smoother finish, it looks just like the rubber.

i have to go see the guys at bellars and check whether there is actually anything wrong with the one i have then we can go from there. cheers

I'm doin a bachelor in industrial design and i am one of those creative people, 'good with my hands'. i think i know style?? so i do some different sh*t to my car (without consulting to many people) here is what i have done, feel free to give your opinion please. 1. I did my own tints - so what 2. painted all my brake calipers scarlet red - 5 coats of engine enamel 3. painted my wheel hubs gold - ditto 4. fitted mudflaps but painted the 'BMW' white - 5 coats of enamel again and 2 clearcoat. 5. umm.. tweeters mounted on the central pillars 6. installed sounds - who cares 7. painted the faded trim around front & back windscreen with flat black enamel - i recomend this. yeh thats about it i think. if you are at all interested in seeing the pics or knowing how to do any of this which perhaps you dont just ask me.

is that the cooling fan clutch for the m20 engine? i might be interested

sounds good hah. just a suggestion for the central locking, the problem i had was real simple just check where the doors electrics plug into the body because the connections can get dirty and or corrode also test the main central locking control unit in the drivers footwell under the speaker, also it has to sit up a certain way apparently if all this fails it will most likely be the solenoid or connection in the boot. hope that helps i stuffed around for 8 months tryin to figure it out. let me know what the prob was when you discover it.

the panel guys i use and have known for years are judd and charles opposite northshore toyota, they do a real good job at a good cash price. never go to north shore autopainters on barrys point rd cos they f**ken suck as does their panelbeater.
