  1. 2 confirmed in this thread. So it might just have been real. Imagine the awesomeness of owning an Enzo. It might not be the best car in the world, heck it might not even be the best Ferrari in the world but surely it's got to be the most iconic? I remember watching Greg Murphy give one a (bit of a) hiding around Puke when they were sort-of new... it sounded amazing at 280km/h - like it was one massive intake fan. v.v.cool.Edit: Props to Greg for a hero drive on Sunday, one of the best two drivers in the field that day. You still got it lad! :D

    I've been lucky enough to drive an Enzo a few times and also completed a car rally in one.

    You are correct - it is an epic car and certainly iconic. Personally I think the F40 is the most iconic look of the more modern Ferraris, whilst a 275 GTB/4 is in my mind the iconic classic Ferrari being front engined.

  2. As per post number 4 - booze and hookers.

    Seriously - Ferrari 275 GTB 4 cam. Will double in money within a few years.

    Alternatively a 288 GTO, F50 and Enzo. That would just scrape into the budget on a good day.

  3. The P1 sure looks good. From all the reports I have read it does seem a level or 2 above the 918, but we will have to wait until La Ferrari is out to see who is king.

    My prediction - La Ferrari is faster in a straight line (just), whereas P1 will be the quickest on track, and on big F1 tracks it will be in a different class.

    Have a read also of this article from Harris on Thursday; http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=29516

  4. I haven't actually done anything yet but I have ordered a few parts from Turner Motorsport in the US.

    The car is a F10 M5 - I've ordered;

    Axle back straight pipes - Turner Motorsport version

    H & R lowering springs - 1 inch at front - 0.7 inches at rear

    Spacers for front (12.5mm) and back (10mm)

    Full LED interior light package

    Black side grills

    Black front grills

    Genuine car cover for the M3 CSL

    These should be a good start to making the M5 a bit cooler!!

    Finally finished installing all of the above. Some quick comments;

    1/. The exhaust is epic. Makes the M5 sound great. Very loud at start up, but on the open road it's fine when cruising.

    2/. LED interior lights - very easy install and totally changes the car. A must I think for just over $100 a very cheap upgrade. The M5 has 19 interior lights to replace when doing this, however it comes as a kit so very easy.

    3/. The black grill and side gills make the car look a lot better.

    4/. The H&R springs give the car a great stance with the spacers. Very pleased I did this!

    All in all very happy with everything. Now I just need to decide if I want to paint the wheels satin black or will this be overkill....... So many first world decisions!

  5. Sorry didn't see this 'til just now. It looks like I'll probably be having the E92 wrapped soon by Carfolie. Will be interested to hear your take on Redline once you've done that.

    As for research on my behalf, it's been pretty limited. :)

    As the car will be in AKL for the next month or so feel free to PM me and have a look once it's done. Redline should start late next week after CCS have finished a service etc.
