Welcome to Bimmersport. If you really want an E30 (and why wouldn't you) then stay on the forum and do your research. It will pay off big time.

Huge thanks to Frantic for hooking me up with a replacement viscous hub for my 320. The old one was seized solid by the time I worked out what was wrong. Can't imagine the stress that was causing. The loss of power was huge and that saying something on a 320. She is all good again. Frantic and being on this forum saved me big $$$$$$$. Thanks.

It seems to me that some of the E30s are slowly going up in value. Manuals are harder to get and the sell price should reflect that. Purists like the E30s one way and others like to modify them. Sell a good car to your market and you should get a good price. Each to their own.

My Viscous hub is starting to seize and making lots of squealing noises. The fan is not free spinning at all. I don't want to put too much extra pressure on my water pump. Has anyone got one for sale. BTW will this be contributing to a loss of power? 87 320i Pre facelift. Thanks.

I just picked up a night fill job at Bunnings. Boring as hell but I need the money at the moment. Try there.

My heart is with Cameron and because his trainer is my cousin. (yeah for me) Cameron's boxing style is too limited and he can't put together any combinations. He bleeds and Tua knows it. If it was a toughman comp then Cameron all the way but it's not. Tua to win by a big knockout in round 1

Welcome to the site, enjoy. -
Yep, sorry. That hose to the throttle body is split. I have run some cleaner through and it fixed it for about half a day which is why I changed the fuel filter.

Hi all, I have been putting up with a serious loss of power for the last week or two. I have checked the air filter and its all good, so I replaced the fuel filter and still no joy. I noticed that the hose that runs from the back of the air box to the carb has got a split in it. Would this be causing me to lose so much power? It feels like the car is starving for something. Oil levels are o.k. and there are no check lights up on the dash. Engine is a bit smoky and borderline for a warrant. Ideas anyone? Cheers Keith
