Been seeing the silver e46 m3 'A2K' parked outside my apartment building last few days. I've seen it on the forum here a fair few times, who's is it again? Looks very tidy!
Cheers mate that'd be me.
I was out at a client in Eden Crescent this week hence why it was parked on the street!
I'm just about to install my Camber Arms this week and roll the guards so the rear matches the fronts offset

Been a while since I've posted in here. Took some snaps this evening - such nice weather!

Looks great! Is it possible to see a photo of the 6 mounted in the car?

Actually just read a thread on this and I think you might be right

The tune (ecu data) itself is locked but the cable is generic as far as I'm aware.... So your cable should work

how about you get a like 5 m3 owners and split the $200. $40 each or whatever.
I'm thinking of starting a group Buy thread. Might post up tonight.
Cheers

Hey Guys,
I am looking to purchase an evolve tune for my E46 M3.
They charge $200 for a tuning cable which I find a bit steep given I am unlikely to use it again once I have uploaded the tune.
Would anyone happen to have or know someone with one in NZ? I am happy to rent it off them or do some car photography for them as a gesture
Cheers,
Alex

For sale is a mint condition 2008 E92 M3. This example is Jerez Black with Fox Red interior.
I purchased this vehicle in 2011 while I was living in the UK. It has travelled 47,500km's and has been kept in meticulous condition throughout its life.
This car has full BMW service history with the most recent in March 2013 by Jeff Gray. During this service, it had the following done:
- Engine Oil
- Microfilter
- Brake Fluid
- Spark Plugs
- Manual Transmission service
- Differential Oil with FM booster additive
In addition to BMW specifications noted below, I have carried out the following modifications:
- Performance Carbon Fibre Splitters
- Performance Modified Exhaust (Sounds awesome!)
- NZPT Tune
Standard Equipment
- Interior mirror with automatic-dip
- Seat adjuster, electric, with memory
- Headlight cleaning system
- Xenon Light
- Air Conditioning
- Cruise control
Optional Equipment
- Brake Energy Regeneration
- M Drive
- Alarm system
- Rain Sensor
- PDC
- High Beam Assist

Looking forward to seeing the car when I'm back. Photoshoot ?
Definitely mate! I did a cheeky shoot last night with George's E46. Photo's below:
Looks awesome! Love the direction you're taking with this car mate
Cheers man! Your front lip is scraping quite a bit now haha.
How much 'better'/softer is the ride with 18"s?
Combined with the BC Coilovers the handling is night and day! Makes a world of difference with light wheels, good tyres and a firm suspension setup.
Not sure about m3 but my e46 330i sedan (the one you saw nick) was heeeeaaaaaps better on the lightweight 18" hamanns than it did on 19s that the car came with.
A world of difference.
I reckon with a good ride height and good suspension, a nice set of lightweight 18s is much better than 19s for performance and ride without much sacrifice in looks

Love it Alex!!!!
Cheers Tom! I should probably grab those limiters off you before the car goes up to Ray. Will give you a buzz this weekend.
Coil overs are really going to tie it all together.
So true! Will be so good to have it a few inches closed to the ground
What specs are the wheels? (square?)
Very cool looking indeed. Good work.
Thanks mate!

Awesome.
Cheers mate.
This is why I can`t get enough of the `46 M3`s. Coming together nicely.
Looking forward to seeing it @ Hellbm for its 3 week visit.
Looking forward to it Ray.
Csl bootlid ftw! I love how the wheels arent so big. 19s or 20s ugh!
Yeah man I love the track focused look that's coming together!
If I get show rims I'll stay with 18s still. CCWs or Meisters are on the wish list

More updates - it's been a busy week for the M.
Needless to say I was ecstatic to find my shipment from the states was ready for collection on Monday morning.
George kindly got my new Supersports fitted on the apex wheels by the afternoon and I was itching to leave work so I could fit them.
Also part of the shipment was my CSL bootlid. I got this for a good price so I wasn't expecting it to be perfect. It took a bit of work to get it fitted (thanks to George again) but the end result is pretty good.
Coilovers should be going in Saturday fingers crossed.
Here's how it's looking at the moment.

Lovely example! Good luck with the sale

Why are you selling it? Looks good!

Got a few more goodies today! Smoked corners and gloss black kidney grills with matching side gills. I must say the fitment is not great at all (from Khoalty) and I will be asking for an exchange or refund based on the quality. Nevertheless I installed them temporarily. I also popped into see George as he installed his Agency Power Exhaust. We took a little video with the cars side by side.
Video link is below. The Agency Power starts first...

As title states... These are only $130 new from BMW but they have to order in from Germany so thought I'd see if anyone has one lying around first.
I'm looking for a black one.
Cheers,
Alex
