Everythings in besides the outside tie rod end (where it goes up into the strut) It doesnt want to go into the hub

Ive got a standard 320i just lowered 50mm. Im doing i engine transplant soon. My thoughts are: 2.5l scrap all ecu etc run a tripple side draft carb set up with lumpy cam, extractors and exhaust and maybe even get the cylinders board out, i know this probily sound crazy but im just thinking how many poele have done this? because ive never herd of it bening done. i beleave it would be a sick sounding engine when its all finished. What are your thoughts?

Had to do a tie rod end and rack end on my e30, got the parts from BNT on the box it said they were for e46 but they checked the part number and told me it was the right one, pulled mine out looks like there a 3 piece and the one i got is only a 2 piece, then i put the rack end in then the tie rod end but when i went to but it into the strut it wouldnt go in, is there a tool i should be using? i have given it a few hard belts and nothing has happened???

Where did u get them from? Have they been modified? can you see out of them propily when they are on the car?

Installed my headunit just before, hooked the speakers up and they are crackling i have 6x9s and 6 1/2s what the hell do i do? should i upgrade speakers and get a 222watt amp or what? o yea my headunit is 45x4

I got a kenwood 700watt sub the other day im just wondering what amp i shout use with it, im thinking about the 250watt sony but im not sure i really want something more powerfull than that any ideas?

Nah sorry no before shots only thought about doing them after i had cleaned her up but it was too late, i can tell you the boot was white (with oxidization) and the roof wasnt much better, the boot come out better than the roof for some reason. O yea i got the plates with it aswell, go with my last name Smith

Well Here it is 1 grand good buy if you ask me, paint was really badly oxisized (cant spell) but gave it the 3 step mothers and came up suprizingly well but still not perfect. :mosh:

I want to install a headunit in my e30. But there seems to be a problem, it looks like the whole dash has to come off for me to be able to get the old one out and new one in. Also in the owners hand book it has diagrams of the original tape decks mine has the same name on it as one of them but it looks completly different??????

I think i will pick up some tail lights but not BMW ones as they will cost to much and experment with them with window tint, spray tint maybe some spray paint

How about putting window tint on the rear lights to give them the smoked look? Would it work? How about WOF etc?

Hmm so how much would that cost me to get done including the cobys and the tip installed as i dont have acsess to a welder and i dont really want to do it myself as i might screw it up. Does anyone know someone in Christchurch who can do me a good deal?

Yea same thing has happened to me but the bottom of the box (i mean the end closest the enginge) has broken or something and is just hanging there so is the right thing to do, to get in behind it and try it manually?

Ok i screwed up a bit on that one didnt i! So.... we all have to learn somehow. So im keen on the 2.7l block conversion. But i need to know how much $$$ this will wack me for. Or is it not worth it? Maybe i should just get bolt on's and get some mild porting done. So my car makes 95kw, Im taking that is at the flywheel. I do get hacked off with people in 88' 323 gts etc with the usual exhaust tip bla bla bla draging me off at the lights, with there 1600 DOHC 16-valve engines FWD. I want enough power so that they think twice about trying to drag off a real car in there JAP ricer cars. I understand that i wont be able to kain them but i dont really want to break the speed limit in the middle of town. So what are your guys thoughts on transfering a e34 DOHC 24-valve head over to my m20? Its just a thought as the SOHC 12-valve isnt the pest performance wise

Ok well i want to import a muffler from the states. But they say $100Us screw that man. So how should i tell them to ship? I am happy paying $50-$80nz but i dont want to be waiting 3 months id be happy with 3 weeks tho
