Hi, I'm after a bigger motor to fit a 92 BMW 320i. At the moment there is a 2lt with auto. Is there a bigger motor which will bolt in? ie; 3ltr 6 M30.cheers
-
Hi, I have a 92 BMW 320i auto 2ltr motor which I would like to replace and want to know if there is a BMW motor which would bolt straight in?
-
found out the problem was the cooling system wasn't bled properly, still had air in it, read some where that you should have the front of car way up in the air as the head is higher than the radiator and taps air. thanks to everyone for their help. cheers

If any one has a spare consul window switch for an E36, left hand windows, front and back combined, I'm interested.
-
Do you have the window switch from the consul to control the left hand windows? For a 92 4 door E36. The switches are 1 unit. cheers

will have a look at that or take it somewhere else

"sic" you're not implying that it rains here are you? emma, thanks again spacers would have to be hidden some how as I think they are illegal

the tyres are actually rubbing on the chassis not the moldings, thanks for the suggestion anyway

when the water pump was replaced last year, just the impeller part was loose on the shaft,( was the old fibre model), no movement or leaks or noise from pump , took a while to track that down then, had same symptoms then as had now only they have disappeared for some reason. will be keeping an eye on temp tho

OK I've another problem, I have 235/40ZR/17 all the way round. Last WOF they failed me because the front tyres rub on chassis when on full lock. Any suggestions (serious one's at least) And no I don't want to get rid of the mags. cheers

well I don't know whats going on cause it is OK now, maybe leaving it alone for a day and just giving it the odd kick as I walked past ????????????????
-
I think the water pump has broken again, so will pull apart and check. Cheers for all of your help
